I kinda feel like I should redraw that Adora - She-ra piece I did again. That piece was done like a year ago. Maybe I'll do something brand new. But I'm torn between Lady Dimitrescu, Vi x Cait, and She-ra art at the moment. FFxiv art has slowed down for me. Commissions have died down, and well... I could draw artwork of Zara and her Rp adventures, but it's been nice watching my She-ra art resonate with so many on Tumblr.

Did some artwork of my character Zara on FFxiv and my friends Miqo Tabi. The artwork is based on a roleplay we've been doing and so far I LOVE their story so much. Tabi is a pirate, Zara is a retired sellsword. They both have big ol' supiriority complexes, Zara's jsut happens to be a little smaller, so the banter and barbs back and fourth is GREAT. xD But I adore these two characters a lot. <3

This was another Mental health piece I did a few months back. I was going through a /really/ bad depression episode. I just felt like I was underwater, everything was muted. Sure, I had moments of happiness, moments of sadness, and other little emotions but I felt /horribly/ numb, like nothing in life stirred any emotions and just the /pressure/ of needing to be a functioning adult was suffocating when I barely had the will to take care of myself. I wasn't eating, showering, brushing my teeth, my hair, I struggled to get out of bed and getting through the work day was hell. This piece,t herapy, and medication helped me break out of that depressive episode.

Have some more She-ra art. Shadow Weaver was BY far my FAVORITE character. I have a thing for villians. I adored her redemption arc though. ; w; I'm working on some current art as we speak, but this is an older piece. :)

Well, I'm still unpacking, and I wanted to post something to share. This is old She-ra art of Adora I did a while back when I was watching the show. She-ra to this day is still one of my FAVORITE comfort shows.

Still in the process of moving apartments. I have to work today, so I can't really move anything or pack until /after/ I get off work so during my lunch I did some some gesture drawing and anatomy work. Hands are one of those wonky things. They're either easy, or the biggest pain in the ass for me to draw. :') Anyways, this is my process on how I draw hands, or at least map them out to help with proportions. I use the square, cone, circle method and then add curves and roundness.

I've been struggling with a bit of artist block, likely becuase I'm moving into a new apartment this weekend and I'm stressed and doing a million and one things which is giving my brain no creative space. I can't sleep, so I decided to do some gesture drawing and anatomy studies. I was taught in collage to use the "Flour bag" method for the torso / hips, but, after watching a youtube video, I'm going to try and switch to using 3 Demensional shapes instead, so - boxes, cylinders, and cones. Honestly, this method has helped a TON. I'd say I'm not where I want to be yet, but doing this study did help loosen up my artwork up.

I had to make an entire new Tumblr, which I'm okay with. my art has improved a TON over the years, so I would have gone through my old tumblr anyways and scrubbed all the old art. This was a Commission piece for a friend of mine on FFxiv. I adore her Xaela and her little voidsent lunar moth. She wanted a Sailor Moon themed piece of art for her carrd, so I delivered. <3

Every now and then I do mental health pieces when my mental health goes to shit. This is an old piece of art I did. Long story short I need medication to keep depression and anxiety from putting me in a choke hold and disrupting my life. Helps me keep my emotions from going from 0 to 100 in a blink of an eye and keeps me stable. Mental health to me feels like a constant pump of medication just to be a fuctional adult, and I needed to do some artwork to accept that reality. Medication isn't a bad thing, some of us need it to funtion, some of don't.

 How To guide on Carrying your Ishgardian Noble Lover: For the Smols of the Eorzean world. Step 1: Understand the risk.

Know your Elezen Noble! Some won’t tolerate being picked up at all! Some will! If they’re not tolerant of being carried, you risk a rather untimely death by their personal guard! If they are tolerant, expect glares, pouting, and a fair bit of whining.

Step 2. Lift with your Legs. Make sure you lift with your legs. Your Ishgardian Noble /will/ be bigger than you. It’d be horribly embarrassing if you dropped your noble or tossed your back out, and that’s shame you’ll never live down. Step 3: Once you get your Noble Ishgardian over your shoulder, carry them! Elezen Nobles are not accustomed to being carried! Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you carry your Ishgardian Noble in public. Nobles have appearances to keep up, and IF you carry your Noble in public, you will be the cause of a scandal. Don’t be the cause of a scandal if you want your Noble Ishgardian to speak to you again.

Step 4: When putting your Noble down, you have about two seconds to /run/. Your Ishgardian noble will want revenge for the embarrassment you’ve put them through. This may look like a smack upside the head, a boot shoved up your arse, or they may chain you in the basement of their estate and demand you reflect on your action to the Goddess Halone.

Clause: IF YOU ARE CAUGHT. Get on your knees and grovel you fool! Stroke your Ishgardian’s ego and pray none of the bad in step 4 happens.
