The ‘MAPS’ Community

So, there has been a lot of talk on Tumblr recently about the ‘Maps Community’. If you don’t already know about it, MAPS stands for Minor-Attracted People. This means that there is a community of pedophiles on Tumblr. 

First of all, I want to thank @bad-post-pikachu I actually found out about this issue through one of there post. They also posted a block list with a lot of MAPS supporters on it. I will tag all of the maps supporters as well so you can block them. 

So, to start off, there are a lot of pages saying they are a non-offending map or a nomap. This is them saying that they have an attraction to little kids, but do not act on it. I have seen some accounts that claim to be non-offending maps that say they are disgusted by pedophiles. Well, I hate to break it to you, but this is the definition of a pedophile. 

Now, notice how in both of the definitions, it says ‘Sexually attracted to children’ This means that it doesn’t matter if you are non-offending or not. If you are sexually attracted to young children, then you ARE a pedophile.

So, to those of you self-proclaimed ‘Non-offending Maps’ who say they are disgusted by pedophiles, I want you to take a good look in the mirror and be disgusted.

Along with this, I see that some of the MAPS are saying that being a MAP also makes them part of the LGBTQ+ community. Which is by no means true at all. You are not apart of the LGBTQ+ community at all! You are however a part of a large block list going around Tumblr. 

And, the last thing I am going to say is ‘STOP TRYING TO NORMALISE YOUR MENTAL ILLNESS BY OPENLY TALKING ABOUT IT ON TUMBLR!’ Yeah, I said it. Your. Mental. Illness. If you are part of the MAP community, you are a sick person. Being a MAP is never going to be accepted ever. And it is rather dumb to be talking about it over Tumblr of all places. Because, If you were not aware, Tumblr is used mainly by minors who will rally against all that you stand for. Your disease is NOT wanted here.
