Pinhole Process

I first decided to make it bigger than my previous cameras, and instead of the traditional cube form, i went with a more rectangular form. Mostly due to the fact i messed up with my first measurements. With the rectangular form, I cut out two pieces from a shoe box, and with the remaining cardboard I cut out what suppose to be the sides for both the box and the top. After measuring the sides, I started with the box itself. I taped the sides upward and on one of the slabs of cardboard. After being satisfied with the now rectangular form, i worked on the top. Having that the sides of the box is taller than I had to cut these down these down for a bit then taped them down. I then added the aperture and a cover.

Noumena Takeaway

After the compelling process of Noumena, I can honestly say I walked away with a piece of understanding of the nominal world, although other’s may not know of my understanding. It is true that Noumena is a complex theory that no one will truly gain a honest perceptive on. With my Noumena presentation, I learned to practice my presentation before due date. I say this, because if not you can loose the point you are trying to make, mainly because the theory is so complex that it easy it become confused. The final takeaway I got from Noumena is that having that it is a theory within itself, there is still a chance that it is not a true fact that is proven. But in the end that is just the illusion of it all.

I want the similar vibe for this Analog project. Overall, i would like to combine two photos to make an image that creates its own symbolism, and a bridge that links the two images

Symbolism/Compostion

With my project I will be doing a portrait similiar to the one above. I will like to use the concept of polar opposites in this project. Also i will include texture, and shapes in my image. If i don’t have my two subjects on a school day, I will probably probably take it at home, with a dark background. Im not exactly use if i want to do it at these two locations, because i always change my mind at the last minute, but I will be using the idea behind this. I like how the photographer black and white lip stick to make it pop, but also have a deep meaning behind it. Like when I view it i think of the Ying Yang sign.

Edward Curtis

One of the most widely-known photographers, Adams was a conservationist and an artist with a camera. Ansel’s photos used a deep depth of filed to capture the different sceneries. Curtis built an illustrious career documenting Native Americans in the 1900s. Curtis set up his images to propose a new way in looking at native americans. The images resonate 100 years later. They are both milestones in photography.

My Bed

My Bed, I make my bed with broken promises and lies that is told to the heart.

I cover myself in the numb feelings that is exaggerated through each day of waking up to see the same damn cracks and scars.

My pillow of dignity makes me ammune to all the fucked up things that goes through my mind.

With dignity comes pride and with pride comes the feeling of willingness to smile through the painful games my mind plays on me.

You hope that your dreams bring comfort to the ill-written day, but it only adds words to the fucked up story you call a life.

The mockery, the voices, the tears, and the betrayal nights I lay down to, are and will forever be within these covers of my mind.

You see this bed is sereal, it is my reality through and through. So while you have a fluffy pillow of hope, I have a pillow of depression.

While you have a blanket of faith. I have a blanket of anxiousness.

This is the bed I lay down to every night.

Notebook will dialogue of the story. In between each dialogue break i will have my characters act out the dialogue. The genre of the story line is mystery and horror. The storyline is two high school girls who befriends a seemingly lonely girl, who doesn’t have any friends. Once the girls befriends this lonely girl, everything seems alright until one of the girls wind up missing, and after awhile dead.
