Red making Purple work for MIRA because they don't want Purps to struggle financially or even die from not being able to afford food vs Purple who thinks Red is mocking them by making them work in the same evil corporation that destroyed their friendship and hundreds of lives.

I like to think that after the nightmare they went through, Purple and Red have to deal with severe PTSD and separation anxiety, but they take it different ways.
Red is the one that gets anxious whenever Purple is away and has intrusive thoughts about them dying in horrible ways and never making it back, ending up in them being clingy and paranoid, while Purple suppresses it all down and is more affected physically: they flinch whenever they hear a loud noise and get close to panic attacks when the power goes out, and they're extremely uncomfortable with people that aren't Red touching them due to it reminding them when the Impostor took hostage of them (singular) and was basically about to kill them. Purple has a self sacrificing tendency after that (and even before, as seen in Episode 10 when they offered themself as a distraction and let Red make the surprise attack), which is why they wouldn't be afraid of being away from Red after everything that happened.

Their relationship is complicated
Sometimes I feel like i'm living in the past. But not in a metaphorical way, in a "I am literally living in a memory and I am not the real version of myself" kind of way. Like the "real" me is living the present right now, the actual reality, while I'm just being remembered by somebody.
Big fan of when a show develops a more detail/fleshed out art style as the seasons go by and the main characters never get a redesign, so now every time a new character appears they look so off in comparisson.
So i'm doing a list of "Things Teen Titans Go Robin knows about" and so far I have:
â˘Health Insurence
â˘Taxes
â˘How to buy a rental property
â˘Why trees are taller or larger
â˘Acrobatics
â˘Mixed martial arts
â˘Ninja combat and techniques
â˘Machinery (example, how to build complex machines, fix them, and change their programming or components effectively, as seen when he made a size changing machine all by himself in Body Adventure, S1)
â˘Scams (how to identify them and how to do them. This includes pyramid schemes)
â˘Concealing
â˘Common Core Math and normal math
â˘Trademarks (and Trademark Trolls)
â˘How to cook (and he does so extremely well as seen in Thanksgiving S2)
â˘What a 401k is
â˘Dancing
â˘How to drive a motorcycle and a plane (and iirc, a car too)
â˘How to buy a car
If anyone knows other stuff lmk so i'll add them to the list!
Adding on:
â˘How to do make up
â˘How to drive/sail a submarine
â˘Detective skills
â˘Golfing
â˘How to play the flute, saxophone and trombone
â˘Skateboarding
â˘How to play soccer/football
â˘How to play dodgeball
â˘Rollerblading
I like when someone asks or talks about my hyperfixations because it's the only time in life I feel like I can actually do a proper discussion with someone, have arguments, give out sources, and sound both rational and calm during it. I don't feel stupid or like it's not worth it because I don't get it like them. I feel capable of deffending my points of view and give out sensical theories. It's a nice feeling.

I was thinking, maybe the reason Robin values his spiky hair so much is not only because of his perfectionism and because it "looks cool" (though that definitely plays a part on it), but because it defined a new era for him, a new him.
The Titans were the ones who helped him discover himself (Flashback S4), and that spiky hair alongside his change of clothes and new attitude were the ones who made him who he is now.
In a way, he keeps his hair like that as a reminder of the people that changed him for the better, and as a reminder that he's not and never will be the person he used to be. This is why he gets so hurt and desperate and will crash out when his hair is messed up, and also the reason he values his hair gel a lot and has a year supply of it on his closet (or had, until Starfire The Terrible blew it up).
