I feel like there's a sort of hero complex to what Octane is doing, with wanting to fight/get Revenant away. The entire time he's saying stuff in his head like,

"Creepier how he's leaning over Wattson."

"This punk slides one of his fingers over Wattson's bed sheets. He's messing with us, so why aren't we messin' with him!?"

And my favorite line from him, and moment, that sends him to what seems like almost a desperate frenzy to get Revenant dead or away!

"Rev jumps on the bed by Wattson's feet. OH, HELL NO!"

He doesn't seem to actually care what Revenant is saying, just what he's doing. And what he's doing is threatening Wattson. He react EXTREMELY negatively to this, while when Loba is being threatened he says things like "This chica's toast." showing his priorities in this situation!

And while it shows in the way he is acting, it also shows in how he doesn't say a single word out loud during this entire situation until everything is done. I believe it's because he really, really cares about Wattson. To me a silent Octane, who even asked for things to slow down in the beginning, is a clear sign of that.
