haikyuu boys as...domestic things
a/n. I tried to make these kinda different that what you would assume from each boy...lemme know what you think!
daichi - morning chats over coffee, nothing distracting you but the sounds of birds outside the window. his voice is rough and gravelly from sleep and it just makes you swoon. š
suga - organizing your closets and putting on a mini fashion show while youāre at it. suga always says ādesigners, make it work!ā before coming up w the WORST outfit. itās all in good fun...but to be honest, not much gets done.
asahi - casually leaning against each other. itās not too much or too little, just enough closeness to provide comfort without being overwhelming. Itās a form of skinship that lets you two be free to do other things, but you can lean more into each other when you want.
nishinoya - grocery shopping!!! it is literally never a bore when noya tags along with you. you two get hella distracted and probably only get like...50% of the stuff you meant to go for...but hey, at least you have doubled stuffed oreos...and a can of baby formula..? whaā
tanaka - adopting a pet! heās the type of guy who acts tough about it in public like āoh yeah my pet is named bones and itāll kill youā and then at home heās making kissy faces at it and dressing it up in tutus and calling it you twoās baby
kageyama - doing the dishes together! he has that drive to be a team player even when it comes to housework, so the dishes are definitely a tag team job. you get to choose what you wanna do, washing or drying/putting them up, and heāll do whatever is left. you two have cute catch up conversations while doing this too
hinata - sharing food!! he loves to pull a āhere comes the airplaneā and let you try whatever heās eating. if you share food with him (esp if you feed him off the utensil youāre using) he will very obviously gush. š„ŗ
tsukishima - sharing accounts (Spotify/Netflix/etc.) He lets you bum everything off him omfg,,,youāre so thankful bc he literally has it all and youāre getting it all for free. the only downfall is he makes you listen to his playlists and watch his fave shows...it is fun to get a couple screenshots of his history, though. (why did you listen to the MLP theme song 8 times in a row in Wednesday night, tsukki? š¤)
kuroo - tying his tie every morning before he goes to work (he gives you a kiss on the cheek in return). he knows how to tie it and is more than capable...but letting you do it makes him smile. in return, he likes to tie your shoes or zip your jacket up for you.
kai - buying and naming succulents! this oneās a little on the nose considering his profession, but kai takes a lot of enjoyment from bringing home the small/sickly plants from his work and bringing them back to life. heāll be like āgreg is doing so much better today!!ā and youāre the only one who knows heās talking about a baby cactus, not a person.
kenma - doing different activities in the same room but still feeling the intimacy of being together!! you and Kenma can just casually sit next to each other when you crave a little more affection too. but even when youāre apart, you still feel connected, yknow?
yaku - complaining about work at the end of the end of the day. everything you canāt say to someoneās face just finally comes out and the two of you validate the hell outta each other. yaku is a master and tearing people down with words...heāll roast the hell outta whoever is bothering you.
fukunaga - learning to bake! sure, he can cook, but baking slips his mind. however, itās something heās more than willing to learn with you!! he follows each step alongside you to a T...but sometimes things go wrong when he initiates a food fight and all the sudden you smell burning
atsumu - babysitting for a friend/family member. kids take to atsumu almost instantly for his āweirdā hair and the fact heās pretty much still a kid in an adults body. itās adorable to see him interact with kids bc heās not ashamed to play with them and they just...love him.
osamu - playing a game while he watches. he likes playing video games but he only does it every once in a while. he likes to watch you play while he just leans against you or has you in his lap š
ushijima - going windowshopping. i mean, it starts out as windowshopping until Ushijima is more than happy to whip out his credit card. he likes seeing you in new outfits and is so patient when you shop...you guys get ice cream afterwards.
tendou - scrapbooking š„ŗ Tendou has a lot of keepsakesāspecifically things that youāve given him or pictures you two have taken...so ultimately he ends up needing to sit down and organize them. you both like to spend time relaxing and reflecting on all the good times youāve shared.
semi - doing each other nails. š itās just got to treat yourself, yknow? so mani pedi days are necessary to yāall just to chill out and stay presentable. semi actually doesnāt get bothered when you want to paint his nails, he thinks itās cute. he also likes picking out your nail color(s) if youāre into that.
akaashi - learning to cook! akaashi would be better at it if he sat down and like...just focused on it..but cooking is such a leftover skill to him. he multitasks too much and accidentally burns food way too often. so you two take steps to cut off distractions and make meals together š„ŗ they end up being really good too!!
bokuto - sitting down and having breakfast/sitting down and having dinner. Bokuto is always making sure you eat properly, and he never leaves you hanging. he may be a pretty scatterbrained dude at times, but he NEVER comes home late for dinner (something about leaving your pretty face all alone after a long day? nah. not for him.) . even during game season heāll FaceTime you and share a meal. š„ŗ
oikawa - gardening! he...LOVES it...Oikawa is totally a vine person and loves seeing them grow up on wires are decorate the area...he will also bring some inside to hang from the ceiling (where it looks good ofc). he also will pick flowers and put them in your hair...like just imagine him tucking your hair behind your ear and placing a blossom that sprung off his vine there š
iwaizumi - doing puzzles!! iwa thinks puzzles are really relaxing and work your mind well, so he tries to do them for fun every now and then. you can tag along too if you want, heāll play some nice music and you two just talk and drink a little. sometimes you both get separate puzzles and have competitions to see who finished first
hanamaki - doing the laundry together. super super domestic...and somehow fun...? organizing the clothes and getting them washed and dried is easy enough...but the folding aspect is where you two struggle. itās a lot easier when you both do it at the same time, however! thereās a lil chit chat and trash TV binging going on while youāre at it, too.
