I know skk acts gay in every art but this one is so special to me. Chuuya is covering dazais injured side (he also covered Dazai's blind spot in the pm so this is clearly habit) Dazai grabbing chuuyas coat from the air omg, also after the skk vs steincraft fight dazai retrieves chuuyas hat and coat from the forest omgoshhhhh do you know how long that would have taken??

I drew this up for a SKK RP I was doing, but then I felt like sharing it here lol

Top is no edits, just the drawing; bottom left is editing the entire photo to make it darker; and the bottom right is (obv lol) the reference photo :D

I did my usual "draw on paper, color online" thingy, which was actually somewhat odd due to the fact that I was actually trying to incorporate it onto the OG image itself, but it was actually pretty fun to do (￣▽￣)

So we all know by now that Dazai is comfortable enough around Chuuya to show nervousness/worry.

Enough times for Chuuya to pick up on that pattern. The pattern, may I remind you, that doesn't have evident correlation to either nervousness or worry to most people. One that can even be interpreted as misplaced given the situation.

Which means that Dazai has done this in front of Chuuya so often, that Chuuya at first was hella confused, before he finally made a connection between when and why it happens. And still remembered that connection after four years of separation. Which gets us to my point:

What if this isn't the only emotion Dazai displays weirdly?

What if he has multiple unconventional patterns he displays for sadness, frustration, content, or disgust? The times he really feels them, and they become too strong for him to just deal with normally? What if these are the only times he's actually being genuine with his emotions?

And Chuuya is the only one who is familiar with them all?

Dazai would be jumping rope and Chuuya would be like, "quit sulking, let's get icecream"

Dazai hanging upside down on the couch and Chuuya going, "It's okay, mackerel. You can cry."

Dazai actually crying, full on heart-wrenching sobs, and Chuuya unironically going, "What, good news?"

It's just... comforting, for one person in Dazai's life to read him like a book. Everyone else would look at him like he's crazy, displaying wrong emotions/behaviors at the wrong time, but Chuuya knows that it's just how he processes feeling properly, and thus he's the only one Dazai can count on to put things into context and understand, which makes him display them even more openly.

Because Chuuya never shamed him for his quirks, as much as Dazai never did his.

Originally I was gonna write a fic where Dazai throws Chuuya a surprise party but funny hijinks happen lol, but I literally got that idea midday of the day before Chuuya's birthday and just didn't have the time 😞 So I drew this instead (even if it was still late 😭)

Or Dazai plays a prank on Chuuya for April Fools’ Day, and Chuuya has to sit through this public humiliation as he vowed to himself to not give Dazai the satisfaction of a reaction this year. An April Fools' Day special!!!

I'm in a married SKK mood (go figure lol) and someone gave me the idea to write up Dazai "proposing" to Chuuya in front of Mori and Kouyou haha! Now while this isn't a proposal in the general sense, I was still inspired to write about Dazai confessing his "undying love" for Chuuya in front of their superiors, and what better way than to do that in the form of an April Fools' Day prank???

Y'all help pls I'm going to a con this weekend but only for 1 day and idk who to cosplayyyy

My two options are 15!Dazai or 22!Chuuya, both from BSD

15zai Pros: Newer cosplay (literally just got everything for him this week lol), never cosplayed him at a con before, silly lil guy and I could bring my crab squishmallow as a prop lmfaooo, his wig was the first wig that I didn't get a "character specific" wig for and I'm pretty proud of how I cut and styled it myself :D

22chuu Pros: Oldest (and first) cosplay, my original plan was to cosplay him at this con, my favorite character everrrr, im the height for it lol, much easier to see since he doesn't have an eye bandage, I made his cropped jacket thing myself 🙂‍↕️

15zai Cons: Those bandages SUCK to put on and thus idk how well they'll hold up for the entire day, can't see as well due to the eye bandage 😭, smaller con but not too sure how to pose in pictures that'll fit the character bc I like posing in ways that'll be "in character"

22chuu Cons: Cosplayed him before at another convention, the wig isn't my favorite in terms of looks (I tried styling it, but it's not that good 😞), it can lowkey get really hot under all the layers he has

Both cosplays aren't bought (no hate to bought cosplays whatsoever, I just have much more fun creating it myself/picking out pieces I already have from my closet), and honestly I wouldn't mind cosplaying either character, I still love them both (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

should i cosplay dazai or chuuya at a con this weekend??? 👀
