Starting weight of the bike. Bike placed on two scales, 226.6# front and 263# rear, 18.4# for the headers. Gauge cluster is 5# and the bike had about a half tank of gas. Totals to 513#. It’s missing items like the silencer can, foot controls, rear master and line, and other misc. items.
Day 1 of the build. Previous owner drove down from Oakland to deliver the bike along with spare parts and some upgrades as well. Really needs a muffler, but she runs well and sounds good.
I’m the third owner. Previous owner had it for around 15 years, and he bought it from the original owner. Has 28,578 miles currently.
Plan is to get it road worthy first then enjoy it as is before tearing it down for a cafe build. To be road worthy it needs:
Muffler Oil change Plugs New brake lines Fork rebuild New rear shocks Rear sets Gauges Headlight/taillight Tires
