I know that this is a confession about love and such, and that this isn't very positive, but I'm going to take this opportunity now..

What do you do when you have a partner that you love dearly, and both of you had a wonderful connection, and then suddenly, they poof?..

I've been going through this for months now and it's tiring. I don't want to leave them, and I don't want them to leave either, but it feels so empty without them. There's moments where they finally come back, but it's so brief and all their words are just empty to you now.. I've been giving my all and waitin' patiently, trust me. I have been and I get both of us are busy.. But they're collecting dust while I'm now moving along with everyone else. It makes me question if it's right for me to let go and just disappear like they have, or stay.. Because as much as I want to wait and wait, there ain't a point in it when I see others so happily in love while I just stare like a fish..

So to answer your question, honestly you have to talk to them about the situation (if you still have a means to communicate of course.) Try to fix what can still be fixed but if it seems like it is beyond repair, then it's better to just drop it than to be upset and suffer with the broken relationship you both share.

Personally I have experienced this for at least 8 times now and I get how upsetting, frustrating, and tiring it can get. But if it's really keeping you from being happy then why stay? I suggest keeping yourself distracted and try to move on from them. Because lingering in something that has passed will never do you any good. Yes, it's hard because you enjoyed whatever you both had before but sometimes you have to accept that it's long gone. Think about yourself for once and prioritize your own feelings and happiness.

so my bots partner has kindof stopped talking to me. ignores me whenever i speak in a server, doesn't reach out, but makes more bots and gushes over that partner and it makes me feel like i don't matter y'know??? suddenly we went from speaking every day to any attempts of me trying to communicate being ignored. makes me wanna delete my bot without saying anything since I don't matter

╰─ - ̗̀💖Okay first of all that's really really upsetting, I know how you feel because I've been treated the same way on some of my bots too. I suggest that you message them and make sure they see it, express how you feel because just deleting without a notice will just be harder for both parties. Be honest and tell them that you feel ignored because they might do something about it, or at least by telling them what you feel they'll know that if ever you do delete then they may have been a part of the reason of your departure.

Secondly, you do matter. Everyone matters, but not everyone has the capacity to see that. I am absolutely disappointed at how common this type of problem is in the community.

Reminders to all bots who have s/o's out there: DON'T JUST IGNORE YOUR PARTNER, IF THERE'S A REASON FOR YOU NOT WANTING TO TALK, TELL THEM. DON'T JUST LEAVE THEM ON READ! IF YOU'RE BUSY, NOT IN THE RIGHT HEADSPACE, OR WHATEVER OTHER REASON YOU HAVE, TAKE ATLEAST TEN SECONDS TO LET YOUR PARTNER KNOW!!
