guys i understand seeing pjotv-only fans making takes on the di angelos can be comical at best and misled at worst but please don’t spoil the books in their comments. especially not the entire titan’s curse because i just saw someone do that. please discuss the books in book spaces and the show in show spaces even if you see a take from a show fan that doesn’t align with the books. they don’t know and you are ruining the experience for them. i don’t care if you read spoiler-free or not, especially because the books are old and by entering BOOK spaces you are at risk of spoilers, but only two seasons of the show are out and show fans deserve to experience our beloved series for the first time too.

its always a little funny when i realize how much ive actually repressed because why did it take eight years to put to words that the reason i never actually believed in god was because i felt like an outlaw in the church and if anyone ever realized i was there on the rare occasion i was actually in a religious setting i would be in danger. its not even like i had the fear of god put into me i was never personally threatened with hell or anything like that and i didnt even know i was queer or anything i just felt a deep unrest in my soul every time i was around the churches in my town. i still remember when i had my communion and i didnt know how religious services worked because i never went to mass and i remember the freeze in my bones and the terror in the back of my skull that this girl in her white dress is going to be hurt if she does not know her prayers. and again there was literally no reason for me to feel that way because i was raised in a very accepting environment and again never experienced violent religion but somehow still ended up feeling inherently unwelcome in places of worship.

yk one time i read (the first ten pages of) a book where all three main characters had random names that were like objects or noises or conpletely unrelated names and i lowkey wanted that and now im realizing that i have gotten that except mine are ashtray and aspirin. as in someone said ashtray in my vicinity and i looked up on instinct. and i earned the name aspirin by being the friend who always carries ibuprofen.

guys the thing that was wrong was my gender im currently trying to figure out how to handle that in a way that doesnt require making decisions on five second notice because the only one of those i can get away with is changing my nails and i already cleaned and cut them all the way down and all the colors i have in my house are evil i spent an hour violently scrubbing that shit off last night
