Donnie turned to look at Henry, his eyes squinted from the ache of the sun "Stop fuckin' with me" he replied, his voice sounding as if it had been drug over gravel. His lips slowly tugged up at one end in a barely there smirk, if there was one thing he knew about Henry- it was that he enjoyed getting a rise out of him, and sometimes he succeeded. "That's exactly what they want you to think" he said after a long moment, inhaling a long drag from the addiction between his lips. "Hiding in plain sight" his body leaned in towards Henry, brows raised before pointing a finger at the pigeon now sitting a few feet away from them.
"That little fucker's got some high tech- top of the line monitoring system, just taking it allllll in" he gave a quick nod, sitting straight and sniffling hard. Donnie wasn't a smart man, he'd barely finished middle school and officially dropped out in ninth grade- but he was extremely confident in his abilities to spot government spyware. The man blew out a thin stream of smoke, leaning back against the bench. "Where you headed?"
"You know I can't do that. Plus, it's fun to fuck with you." The older of the two playfully nudged him with his elbow. He glanced back over to the pigeon when the other pointed at it, raising his right brow. "Mmmm, I don't know much 'bout that, Don... I don't think this town is quite THAT technologically advanced." He snorted. Like Donnie, he left school after the sixth grade, but what he lacked in book smarts, he had in street smarts. "I was actually on my way to work, but I saw your ass on out here and decided to just have a chat." Henry shrugged his shoulders, crossing his arms. " 'Sides, I'm technically pretty early. Work doesn't really start for another..." He paused, pulling his phone out from his pocket and glanced at the time, "About another half an hour, give or take.... Wanna walk with me? We've got a few new 'midnight ballerinas' or whatever Holiday's been callin' 'em that I think might be up your alley~"
