“I know, that’s the main reason I’m not fond of dogs,” he nodded.  “That leaves the pugs right?”

“You’re right, goodness gracious, you actually payed attention.”

“I think large dogs would be better right now.  They’d certainly be easier to find.”

“But they would do a bigger mess, so.” Charlotte put Lemon on his bag as she crawled around the room, finding another dog.” See? We got Stella, now we just need to find Mags and Cotton.”

“Well if it’s not that just makes it more special.  …Oh um sorry about that miss, ma’m, I mean Lottie,” he apologized his cheeks turning a faint shade of red.  “How big are the other three?”

“Oh, I’ve never thought at that to be honest.” She mused scratchig Lemon’s ears. “Don’t you worry, all my dogs are small breeds.”

“Your dog got married?  That’s a thing?  Six pets… wow that’s um… wow,” Delbert replied nodding also kneeling down to look for the dogs.  “Oh um I don’t know I’ll consider it though.  …Hey miss, I think I found them!”

“I don’t know, I just know ours did. I’m Lottie, not miss.” The blonde corrected him while she crawled to his side, spotting a little fured tail a smile made its way to her lips. “Come here Lemon, it’s mama, come out come out.” She spoke softly as she took the yorkie in her arms.

Delbert shrugged setting aside his work and beginning to look for the dogs.  “I don’t know I guess it might be because I never had one maybe.  They’re pretty messy too which is why I don’t like them in here.  I like them I’ve just never had one or wanted one.  You have four dogs?  How do you keep track of all of them?”

“I only had two actually, but my Magnolia got along pretty well with my friend’s pug and well, they even got married, the babies look like their father, Adella got one pup, Tootles got another, I kept the the other two, but I do know that my friend Aurora have five dogs and one cat, she’s pretty much my hero.” Lottie explained with patience as she kneeled to look for them. “Well, I have a lot so if you want one, as long as I can visit, the puppies I mean. Come on babies, it’s mama. Where are you? Come on come on.”

“Your dogs?  Why does this keep happening?  This is the third time someone’s dogs have walked into my room, maybe I should open a kennel but that would require me to really be a dog person.  Do you think they can tell I don’t really like them in here and that’s why ones keep showing up?”

The girl furrowd her eyebrows at the male in front of her listening to everything carefully. “How come you don’t like dogs? They’re one yorkie, a poodle, and two pugs, by the way. ”

“Yeah I’ll be with you in a moment.  Just let me finish this,” Delbert mumbled looking up from what he was working on a moment, long enough only to acknowledge the other person’s existence, before continuing on with his work. “…There, now what was it you wanted?”

“My dogs, you left your doorn open and they entered.”

It was just a quick nap I swear, I’ve just been putting a lot of work into this dress and I must have… fallen asleep here in the studio.
