Finally got to @sumn_nice Location: Caroni South Bank Road . Our Order: Beef Burger Steak & Cheese Sandwich Chicken & Fries . Beef Burger - Let's talk buns! Brioche is my favourite burger bun and arguably the most ideal bread for a thick juicy burger with all the fixings so 10 points for that. All the fixings mean grilled pineapple, bacon, Sunnyside egg and cheese. Too much? Nevvvvveeeeer! Patty reminds me of a traditional American burger patty meaning he's the real star of the show, very little seasoning but the burger all depends on the quality of the ingredients and they have great quality ingredients. No arguments from me here, I'm not a fan of green seasoning in my burger patty. What I didn't appreciate is the turkey 'bacon', I hate it and believe it shouldn't even be a thing but that's just personal preference so do with that what you will. I'm also not a fan of pineapple in burgers (don't even know why I ordered it). I love grilled pineapple just not in my burger. Again, personal preference. All that to say it's a pretty good burger and I'll be having it again maybe with sauce this time, I forgot to mention I don't put sauces on a burger if I'm trying it for the first time as it's a damn good way to disguise a subpar product. . Steak & Cheese Sandwich - Basic hoagie bun which stood up to the filling really well. Tender pieces of beef cooked well and not charred until it more resembles jerky, well done 👏. A little heavy on the black pepper but no complaints here. A good helping of stretchy, gooey cheese, also no complaints. All in all a good wholesome sandwich, may not be WOW but it's worth the price. . Chicken & Fries Bite size pieces of chicken breast cooked on a griddle with what tastes like their signature sauce. Sweet, smokey and tender, everything you want from a dish like this. @checktingjr said it tastes yummy so we can't argue with that. Zero pepper in the dish too so that was a relief as we rarely find food she can eat. Thank you all for that. .
