Twst Fandom, You really need a wake up call
I really do not like putting my nose into “drama” or happenings around the OC fandom, frankly due to what I’ve already experienced here. However, seeing more and more fellow artists and content creators receive homophobic and racist responses in their inbox has prompted me to speak up- as I’ve been a victim too of such messages. [ Homophobic side ] A male/masculine OC is NOT a threat to your yume ship. A POC/Black OC is just as deserving to be with the Twst boys as your White OC. You have NO RIGHT to send such hateful messages to a person just existing and enjoying their time within the fanbase, drawing things that make them happy. Them existing in the same place does not invalidate the content you wish to make, and if you’re that insecure about “sharing” or whatever nonsense I have seen about characters that already do not belong to you, the lovely block button exists for a reason. Curate your experience, but do NOT use your homophobia and racism to act aggressive towards fellow people who deserve and have every right to share the OC space as you do. I have been told countless times that my nonbinary OC is “wrong” to be shipped with Lilia just for not being a cis girl. That I’m making them feel “oppressed” by simply staying in my lane and being gay. That male ocs are driving yume fans away, when all we want is the same respect they get and consideration to be included in content. Stooping so low to send racist asks to someone because you are uncomfortable someone is shipping their OC with your oshi? Grow UP. You’re the people making Twst a miserable place to make content for. You’re going to chase away every writer, artist, and contributor you “respect” away keeping this up. I’m sick of sitting around and watching this issue fester.

after some thinking, i think it's best i open my inbox for anons again. i'm feeling much better now, and not as paranoid as before. i would've prolonged it a lot more, but i don't see a reason to do so any more !!
......that being said however, yeah, sorry - i don't mean to come across as mean but i've sick and tired of humoring that person for so long. on a lighter note, if you still wish to send me questions in the form of anon - you may go to my curiouscat !! i'll answer there, here and on twitter !!

due to me noticing something suspicious from recent asks and my own paranoia haunting me for quite a while now, i've decided to disable the anon option on my blog for the time being from submitting any questions, apologies for the inconvenience. i won't further explain what's been going on behind the scenes unless we're close, and once again, i'm truly sorry that things would have to go this way - perhaps in the near future, i'll open my asks up to anons again, but sadly not right now. another thing to add and i beg to that certain person , please respect my boundaries. if i've stated that i am uncomfortable with you - please do not pursue nor interact with me any further. especially if you are someone who's hurt me in the past. i wish nothing to do with you anymore, and i'd rather not see you anywhere near me ever again, end. of. story. i mean it.

well, what i mean by this is that while i did say mari dates both of these men — i only ever ramble about their relationship with cater in specific because i'm still struggling to find a way to make AzuMari work (that, and i understand cater's character more than azul). It's nothing personal dw ! I just need to work on it more because i don't quite understand them yet !!
CayMari just works better in a lot of ways imo and i might continue rambling about just them for now until i finally figure out how to bring AzuMari justice, that or i might remove him from their relationship

Don’t forget ColourLovers, either! It’s a social media-esque site where you can browse tons of palettes and share your own.
You can browse the most popular ones or search for certain colors, themes, and even specific hex codes!
When you find one you like, you can download a wallpaper swatch of it and also select the specific colors it uses to look at more palettes that use those same ones.
ColourLovers is my go-to for when I’m having trouble coming up with a color scheme! It’s also been around for over a decade, so there’s plenty to browse through.
I do love me a good color palet.

sherrinford's one of the few twst ocs of who aren't based off of any disney franchise, rather — book? you're spot on the detective though ! he's based off of famous fictional detective sherlock holmes !
i really liked the idea of playing around with the idea of 'sherlock' being in a twst setting and wanted to play around more with the concept and eventually, i actually dragged my friends along with it to make their own ocs fom the book franchise !! i could have made one from an actual disney movie but like, branching out amirite LOL
in simple terms, yeah - he acts like him to a T too, his mannerisms and all - i feel like Octavinelle was a best suite for him because ??? i don't know, vibes??
