Watering
People don't realize that they have to water their relationship, they have to pull the weeds when necessary to keep a healthy foundation, and they have to give just the right amount of sunlight, and as your relationship grows tall, just like a plant, it needs support so that it does not tumble over. All of these things that you would do to keep a healthy living plant, is what you need to do for your relationship. Without all of this, you don't have a living plant do you? Without all these the soil cracks, dries out, the flowers and leaves soon wilt, dry up, and fall. Without supporting a tall growing plant with a stake, and some string, or whatever you choose to secure that plant so that it doesn't fall over and break, is what you need to do in your relationships. I hear so many people who are negative about their spouses, upset and voice your opinion for the whole world to read, do you realize the damage you are causing? In a relationship, and I'm going to say in s true grown ass relationship, you never ever disrespect your partner like that, not to embarrass them, see when you get upset, the first thing you want to do is vent, but vent on paper and in private because what you go through with your partner, those tender moments, those disagreements, those aren't for anyone else but yourself. You become weak at those moments, but don't. And here's why, you'll soon be over it, and than you have these people you ran and told, or the internet you blasted him or her on, all the laundry is out there to dry, and now you have people looking at your partner a certain way, they begin to look, stare and not like them because of course they are your friends, and all they see is that one sided story. This is a big reason why relationships aren't lasting now days, because your personal issues have become societies issues to read. People no longer water their relationships, people alter who they are just so that they can get someone committed and as soon as they are committed you stop trying. And I can open this conversation to any type of relationship, but for some reason when I woke up this morning, this hit me. You cannot expect results from nothing. You have to work hard, you have to water your relationships yall. I'm telling you, once you realize what you should be doing in a relationship, once you realize how respect and appreciation is a number one key in relationships, that it isn't just about how you feel, about how your actions you take not only affect you, but affects your partner, when you start fully 100% choosing your partner, actually choosing them, and if you don't know what I mean, well than, you're not ready to be in a relationship, because relationships are never one sided and once you make them one sided, than it's already sabotaged. Once you start doing these things, than you set yourself up for success in a healthy relationship.
