The small gap where this new stranger took a sip from the bottle of liquor allowed Alessia to study him. It was something she was able to do slyly, and nine times out of ten she tended to get the things she read right. However, this time was one those rare moments she got nothing. He looked interesting, but that’s all she got. “Nice name. Very uncommon.” She grinned taking hold of the bottle. “I’m Alessia. Pleasure to meet you lovely,”
Even the small amounts of alcohol he had swimming around in his stomach gave him a light buzz. He gave a nod at her compliment, and cracked a vey faint smile. Unusual for the strange man. "Likewise." Anyone who offered him whiskey without a charge was a pleasure to meet, at least in his books. "So do you normally wander around with a bottle of whiskey at all time? Seems a little...dangerous".

Charlotte was sitting in the park, resting her hands on her pregnant stomach. After a few minutes she pulled out a book. “It’s story time, Sylvia”, she said to the baby growing inside of her. She giggled softly as she opened the book and started to read aloud from it in a soft voice.
Silas noticed the pregnant woman from afar, reading to the baby he could only assume. He studied her for a beat before sliding onto the bench next to her. "What book are you reading?" he asked, turning his head slightly to glance at the blonde.

Ellie walked through the crowded mall. Last night she heard the news of being fired, so instead of the alternative she used to go to when she was younger- she began to drink some extra vodka she had in the house. It was a new way to get rid of the feelings inside. She preferred it much more, but now she was getting over a horrible hangover. Her head was pounding loudly, and being in the loud and crowded mall didn’t make it any better. Ellie tried to make her way through the crowd, without pushing people. “Uh, excuse me. Excuse me!” She piped up, but nobody could hear her soft voice. Looking down at the rubber band on her wrist, she popped it against her wrist harshly, waiting for someone to let her by. On accident, she bumped into a stranger behind her. “Sorry!”
Silas enjoyed the mall about as much as he enjoyed finding shit on his shoe. The place was always crowded and loud and it seemed like he couldn't walk 15 feet without a sales rep trying to lure him in for a makeover. He carefully snaked his way through the busy walk way when he noticed a young woman, couldn't be any older than Gem, standing a few feet away and trying to push through the crowd. He could hear her from where he stood but the others seemed oblivious to her existence. Swiftly, he made way for her, another body pushing him into her back in the movement. A barely audible growl escaped his lips, directed at the suspect in question, before he grabbed the female's wrist, pulling her through the crowd, around a pillar and into darkness that shouldn't have been there. It was brief. He dragged her through the shadows, left, right, straight and..
They were standing outside of the mall, emerging from an alley that closed as soon as they were out. "There. Much better."

This is for fun, this isn’t a job, guys.
YOU JUST WOKE UP NAKED IN BED NEXT TO ME. Using only 5 words, what would you say to me?
"You heard right," The corners of her red lips twitched into a grin, before she lifted the bottle to take a sip. "That's what I like to hear," At least she found company. Drinking alone in the evening was never fun. She wiped the corners of her mouth, her other hand holding out the bottle for him to take.
Hesitantly, he grabbed the bottle, bringing the opening to his lips and taking a long pull of the amber liquid. It left a light burning trail from his tongue to his stomach and he let out a satisfied sigh before handing the bottle back. A little grin painted his lips though if you weren't looking carefully, it would've been missed. "Name's Silas."
Silas paced silently down the sidewalk, wiping at blood that leaked from the corner of his mouth and trying to recover from from the battle he just narrowly escaped in the Briarpatch. He paid no mind to the bodies around him, only enough to weave in and out of them without causing a disturbance.
” ….My my, so much sin in so little time….. ” Enma stood directly behind the man, crimson eyes glancing to the bodies at her feet.
He sighed and slowly spun on one heel to see the source of the voice. Did he notice red eyes? Something off about this one, was she from the Briar too? No.
"Sin, sin, sin. That word means so much and yet so very little." He kept it vague, shrugging lightly as he studied the blood on the back of his hand.
"Gem made me listen to Beyonce"
"Now I have...Freakum Dress...stuck in my head. This is just miserable". He slumped into the chair, frown blessing his lips, and crossed his arms. It was a good thing she left early, she would be having a heyday at the sign of his discomfort.
this is a friendly note: You don’t have to be nervous or intimidated to ask me to RP with you. In fact it’s the other way around because I’m sitting here, looking at your posts and threads. wanting to RP with you but then I’m like “NOPE. THEY’D HATE ME.”
She's got a bad attitude problem if you don't think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread but she's actually fun otherwise.
outofthebriarpatch;
fuck, trying to do replies on silas and gem's in the background jumping up and down and yelling at me to pay attention to her
no gem, no, no one like your attitude
Guyssss. This shit isn’t cute. Seriously. It’s less effort to cut your post than it is to sit here scrolling past it.

It's Dangerous Here || OPEN RP
Silas lay on his back and opened his eyes to the briarpatch, thrown right in the middle of a grove on cold hard earth. Something warm leaked from his nose. Blood, he thought. Funny, for what he just went through, to come back with a nosebleed, it didn't seem so bad.
About 5 minutes prior to his sudden arrival in the briarpatch he had endured a brutal beating from Gem. She insisted on stabbing him this time which he told her wouldn't get him any closer to the light. But humored her. They did have a deal after all and if he wanted her assistance, he had to give her something.
He rose to his feet languidly and dusted himself off while he scanned the forest floor for his hat. Not a sign of it anywhere. Goddamnit, must have fallen offer before I was sent back, he thought. Shrugging it off, he consulted his mental map to see if he could calculate just how far from home he was. If he was right, he could find an exit somewhere near down town within a mile and downtown couldn't be more than a 45 minute walk to his home.
He began his journey, taking swift steps because despite his experience in the briarpatch, the dangers were very real. The last thing he needed (or wanted for that matter) was to be torn to shreds by a bear. He'd return to his normal living, breathing, shitting, pissing self but he would go through a world of pain before he got there. He was in the middle of his own thoughts on the light and insights on the briarpatch when he heard something crashing in the bushes. Before he could move, or extend his ASP Baton to defend himself, a body crashed into him. They both hid the dirt path hard and toppled over each other into the bushes. Silas managed to scramble to his feet, both stunned and prepared.
He extended the baton from his sleeve, ready to attack yet still calm under the circumstances. "Who are you?"
