If you had to name a baby after medication, either prescription or over the counter, what would pick for a gender neutral option, a girl option, and a boy option?

Ah, to curse a child with a name that will follow them through life. That's the dream, isn't it.

Therefore, my first, gender neutral child shall be named Nicotine. Nico works for a nonbinary kid, and can read as masc or femme if they decide to make a change later in life. As an awkward preteen, they can go up to folks and say, "I'm poison," which I certainly would have gotten a kick doing.

As far as gendered names, I think Claratin for a girl. Call her Clara and she can mostly get away with seeming normal until the first day of class every year when the teacher reads the attendance sheet.

Levodopa for a boy for similar reasons. I would say it's a rare enough medication that most people wouldn't realize right away. Also, he can be Lev when he wants to use something common. Then I can mortify him by talking about how he's the source of my dopamine and my greatest joy or whatever. Get wrecked, easily embarrassed imaginary child!
