In honor of finding an Inquisitor Twin.... this is  my version of Maeve Trevelyan... 

Name: Maeve Alanna Trevelyan Age: 27- 30 Class: Mage (Ice/Electric) Specialization: Rift Mage Personality: ENTP - "Quick, ingenious, stimulating, alert, and outspoken. Resourceful in solving new and challenging problems. Adept at generating conceptual possibilities and then analyzing them strategically. Good at reading other people. Bored by routine, will seldom do the same thing the same way, apt to turn to one new interest after another." History: Youngest child of three. Eldest sibling (brother) joined the templar order. Maeve began to exhibit magic ability at an early age (around eight) and was sent to the Ostwick Circle not long after. Her family made it clear that magic was something to be ashamed of and hidden. This has put a strain on Maeve's relationship with her family, a point she is still bitter about. While she didn't enjoy the circle, she didn't think it as the prison some mages believed it to be. While Maeve was taught to be ashamed of her magic due to her parents upbringing, she rebelled in her own way by being the best mage possible excelling in her studies and becoming one if not the top apprentice. She passed her Harrowing without batting an eyelash and enjoyed her life until the circles fell. She battled for her life out of Ostwick against both rebel mages and templars. She joined the mage delegation after having seen enough bloodshed for a life time and hoping for some sort of ending peace between the two groups. Scar Story: While tutoring a young apprentice once she reached enchanter status. The apprentice lost control and Maeve was hit trying to protect the other students. Religious Views: Maeve believes in the Maker and Andraste but does not support the Chantry.  Love Interest: Commander of the Inquisition Cullen Stanton Rutherford of Honnleath Typical Party: Her party members consist usually of Iron Bull (a surrogate big brother), Dorian (her best friend and research buddy), Varric (brotp and great for campfire stories), and Cassandra... because they gush over Swords and Shields and beat up on the boys. Thoughts on Mage/Templar War: Maeve believes in coexisting. She doesn't want a Tevinter life nor life like the Qun. She believes that Circles can be good for learning but Mages need to live in the world and not hidden away. Templars have a duty to not just protect the outside world from Mages but the Mages from the outside world including the Templars. She's seen the best and the worst in magic. Dissolving of either group to her is an extreme solution to the problem. The actions of a few do not represent the many and people need to see that in action. Headcanon: Maeve can be serious business a lot of the time but she does have some fun in a mischief like way... like making someone's tea frozen in their cup. Or if someone is particularly being annoying sending them a little bit of a static shock. She really likes to do this to Cullen when he is being too serious and overworking himself. The girly shriek he makes when she sneaks up on him with icy hands is always worth it.
