February 8, 1975 - The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast of Lucille Ball.  Ginger roasts her pal Lucy with a very short, sweet story about their friendship.

“You know, I’ve known Lucy longer than anyone here. I think it’s safe to say that.  What isn’t so safe to say is how I feel about her.  I was there the night she met Desi.  Lucy and I were dining at a posh Hollywood restaurant, when a good looking, dark haired young man dressed in a white cutaway with a black bow tie walked over to her and said “d’you finish d'your salad lady?”

Lucy and I have been friends for many years, and although I know it’s not very original, I must say I LOVE LUCY!”
