so to go into detail, by canon divergent i mean instead of kidnapping malcolm, that martin actually goes on the run by himself ( how did he even get malcolm and himself all the way down to the boat and take off before dani got down there anyway?? )

what all he does then, i'm not terribly sure of, though he's sure to periodically call his family to make them suffer to check up on them.

i initially considered having him disappear to england or wales bc that'd be fun but it'd be difficult as hell with the fbi buzzing around everywhere like angry hornets. granted, as they should, there's a serial killer on the loose, but still.
