First game as an all-loan team.

I cleared squad numbers and ‘Auto’ selected them. Given the high numbers, I don’t think the game thinks much of my loan signings!

Project #7. Loan Project. It appears that in Serie A, you can have unlimited loan players. So I’m going to see how well I can do in a season by just playing with players on loan.

The squad so far is just everyone available ranked from highest valued in the player search window. Should be fun!

End of this project and because Montpellier had so much attacking choices, it really wasn’t much of a challenge to win the league.

Made a mistake and tried to sign Shabani Nonda - has a 6 month cruciate ligament injury so failed the medical. Next in line to play alongside Cherno Samba is Vladimir Beschastnykh.

Project #6. Montpellier. Carrying on the theme of managing teams that in reality finished dead last. French team Montpellier is the next challenge. £3.4M transfer budget.

Fully expected a hard season and being forced into risky bargain player buys, but it was a breeze. 1. FC Köln have a solid squad and I managed to loan out 9-10 reserve players so finances were strong all season.

Hero of the season. Andriy Voronin scored 67 goals and ends the season valued at £13M. I’ve not come across him in CM0304 before, so this was a nice find.

From the youth team, Rajabu Pambu-Muller was used for 1 game when there was a shortage of strikers. Performance wise he played great, so I played him against the lower league teams and he looks like he could achieve something.

LuaLua & Mikael Forssell both as free loans for 12 months and 6 months respectively. Great signings, great performances and definitely a huge factor in winning the league.

Dominated the Cup Final but just couldn’t put the chances away.

No need to sign any bargain players in January. Going to be a tight season for the title.

For a team that finished last in real life, performances so far have been incredibly surprising. £536k transfer budget doesn’t give me much to improve the squad, so Lomana LuaLua is in on loan from Newcastle to add pace to the squad.
