Annoucement! Secret Santa/New Years Fun!

Hey! It’s finally here! There is one thing though. 

I decided to make a little change this year. Since I usually post the work you guys write and people reblog the stuff from secret santa blog and not you (which is just not FAIR), I thought it would be better for you guys to post it. So you can get the notes you deserve. I'm going to make a big submission post, linking everyone's gift to their work, and reveal in messages to all of you (even though it feels like most of you know :D) who you were writing for so you can tag them in your work if you want to/tumblr allows it.. Please tag this blog in there too, so I can link your work and reblog your post. 

Also HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE :D

Annoucement

First, I’d like to thank all of you for participating in this year’ s secret santa. Usually, I would be posting your works (gifts) tomorrow, but considering how many people are having a difficult year and not really being able to finish on time, I decided to move this to the New Years. 

Chritmas, Hanukkah (I know that already passed) and holidays should be something we’re enjoying in peace, not in stress. I know people were/are cleaning, cooking, baking and all that.I know that some people don’t celebrate any of these, and I know that those tend to be busy with work. 

So, I know, I know. It’s not done usually, there is a reason why this thing is called Secret Santa and not New Year’s Fun but I thought that we’re such a small community, that we should support each other. It also might be fun to get a gift a few days after all of the normal gifts.

This is also a thing that’s supposed to make people happy, something that people should enjoy, so I’m hoping no one will get angry with this decision. I want everyone to be as content as they can be. 

The people who already send their work in, you’re amazing. And I mean it, because you worked on this with such dedication and care, and I know you want your gifts out as soon as possible, but I’m begging you to  hold on for a moment longer. As I said, we’re a small community. I don’t want people stressing over things. If you want, you can run over things, and change something and just hit me with updated versions. If you don’t, then that’s awesome as well. 

Again, I’m really sorry for the difficulties and making you wait a little longer, but I do hope that this is the right decision.

How are you doing?

Hey guys! 

How are you doing? The official finishing time for stories should be the 12th, so please check up with me by then and tell me how you’re doing!  Also because of some unfortunate events (thanks for letting me know! and I hope life will get better for you guys soon!) we’re going to need two back up authors.Anyone almost finished/finished with their story who might help?

Alright!  All the assignments should be out by now. If you didn’t get yours by any chance (which wouldn’t be too much of a surprise, I’m a spazz sometimes) hit me with a message and I’ll send it again <3

Please do not talk about your secret santa with anyone in the fandom. Don’t talk about prompts - what you wanted or what you’re writing. It’s a secret until Christmas! ;) 

If you need any help, want to talk or just throw ideas somewhere, I’m very happy to help (or if you know of someone who didn’t join in this and they are your friend you can work with them :) ) 

If there’s any problem at all, anything happens, just contact me and I’ll work something out! There’s a lot of time. I’ll check with you guys every now and then, but please don’t feel pressured. I’ll just want to help <3

I would like to thank you all for those wonderful thoughts, prayers and wishes. We’re home from the hospital. Came yesterday, actually, and everything’s hurting, but my mother is going to be okay. 

She has titanium sheet in her back now, to protect her nerves from the vertebra they had to build up from scratch during the surgery on Monday, but she’s slowly working on walking. 

She actually threatened to disown me yesterday if I don’t go to my own home already, so we’re going to be okay. 

Thank you everyone, again. For everything, including your patience. I’m working on the santa now and you can expect them during next few days!

A quick announcement

A lot of people probably noticed that you all were supposed to have your assignments by today and didn’t get them. I want to apologize for that. There was an accident in my family and one of the most important people in my life got hurt. The last week was filled with tears, stress and visits to hospital and just... generally trying to help with everything that I could. The secret santa got pushed to the back of my mind during this.

If all goes well, this week should be less stressful, they are planned for surgery and we strongly believe everything is going to go well. 

That being said, I apologize again. I’m going to make sure that the assignments are out this Sunday - at last - and considering how this date pushed, if anyone wants to join this week and didn’t manage to do it before, your submissions will be accepted until Friday this week.
