Timed to coincide with the release of his new home-recorded album, 'Hard to be Around', this energetic and raucous studio cut of Scottish Weekend showcases the wilder side of our favourite emo wonderkid. Inspired by Waxahatchee, Hallam Foe and Jack Daniels, it tells the story of our protagonist roaming the streets of Glasgow fulled by drunken anxiety. Lttm is an engaging and passionate storyteller and a distinctive voice in the Scottish music scene.

Delighted to tell you all about our next release on Common - 'Coastal Erosion' by Kinbrae!

Kinbrae are Andrew and Mike Truscott, an instrumental duo from rural Fife specialising in sparse melancholic compositions. Their sound is primarily defined by the interplay of piano and cornet accentuated by subtle and inventive percussion, acoustic guitar, synths and viola. Their forthcoming album, 'Coastal Erosion', is a plaintive and nostalgic look back at their childhood growing up in Newport-on-Tay. They have an instinctive feel for melody, sympathetic harmony and mood in their music.

The brothers have played in bands such as The Seventeenth Century, Now Wakes the Sea and Prehistoric Friends.

'Coastal Erosion' is available on Common Records from 8th December 2014.

Next Sunday our wee family are playing a gig at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! Featuring Algernon Doll, Now Wakes the Sea, Andrew Pearson & Lovers Turn to Monsters and Chrissy Barnacle it's going to be a total belter. It's still less than 2 years since me and Calum started up Common Records so it's unbelievable that we're already being asked to play at such a reknowned festival! It'd be wonderful to see some familar faces down there Doors at 6:45 for a 7 start. £5 on the door. Wednesday night sees the debut collaborative performance from Andrew Pearson & Lovers Turn to Monsters. They'll be ripping it up with their raucous indie-pop at 13th Note Cafe with support from Lidh, Deathbells and adullboy. It'll all be rather excellent. NEW VIDEO FOR ALGERNON DOLL'S SINGLE SUICIDE

Fresh from their breakout performance at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend Festival where they played alonside the likes of Big Katy Perry, Big Pharrel, Big Kings o Leon, Big Harry Styles, Algernon Doll release a new single with accompanying video. Filmed in the basement of Plan B Books with cameos from a few of the Common Records family, it's as every bit as wild and excellent as the song.
