“ There is a certain amount of stage space a performer would need compared to the audience, ” KID teases, very clearly siding with his mirrored self. He’s missed having very obvious biases, it’s fun! And clearly the detectives haven’t loosened up much since he last checked. “ Who’s to deny the people their show, right? ”
Cameras, lights, the works—if they have a favorite in the other thief, KID is happy to agree. (Though he will be keeping an eye on the shadows for any particular person who’d rather stick to those…) As it turns out, he doesn’t have any photos himself, so. That will have to be handled at a later date, most likely.
“Exactly!” So nice having yet another double agree with him. Though, it’d be nice if the resident Kid had someone to tease himself. ( Outside of his fellow townsfolk, because things that happen within this group could get complicated quickly. )
Shinichi, meanwhile, rolled his eyes at both of the thieves. Of course they’d want the spotlight; being annoying and grabbing attention pretty much their whole deal. Of course, while this detective might not be interested in ‘denying’ any shows, he’s pretty sure there were plenty of people around who could take on that task. Also pretty sure at least one of those people was nearby.
Would be such a shame for the Kids here if someone were to. Also fish for attention.
“Hmm... I don’t know about that, KID. Performances only need the space if people actually wanted to watch them. Causing trouble and stealing attention isn’t quite the same as a stage show with a willing audience.” Granted, since everyone still seems to be getting settled, nothing’s happened yet, but come on. Reputations precede.
“You two are just popular because you’re an inevitable train wreck people can’t stop watching until things go wrong.”
