There was a glamour to what she was. Monster, Criminal, Singer- the little things added up to a comfortable lifestyle. A simple one, yes, but not without it’s charm or glitz. And the Dragon’s Nest was the most unique part of it all.
When she first came up with the idea of a dimension hopping bar, it felt impossible. But years of research and hard work had brought it to life. Good drinks, better music, and food that made your soul feel warm inside. She had it all. And she could bring it to anyone, to anywhere.
So to be dragged to the TVA wasn’t a surprise. Mobsters weren’t the only criminals who hid in her establishment. Variants, wanted killers, and those who played in the dark often sat to drink at her tables.
She could only wonder what the cops wanted this time.
The fun part of Nathaniel’s job was being able to keep a watchful eye over every single detail of the lives in the multiverse. Tripped over your own feet? He witnessed it firsthand chewing on an apple that he almost choked on in his laughter. Messed up on a first date? Yeah, fate was funny that way. He was one to enjoy the chaos, the little things in life. He never altered the timelines, only allowed things to take their proper courses. Well, maybe he did alter timelines a little. For his own enjoyment though!
As his gaze settled upon the timeline, something magical happened. A sparkle of colors indicating someone had entered his domain. The good part was that he was, in fact, not a cop. Though, the TVA had no idea who he was. Had no idea that he was just a man with power. But, wasn’t that how most of them were? He dusts his hands off, munching on the last bit of his apple before disposing of the core into a nearby trashcan.
Nathaniel stepped onto the elevator as the doors opened up, hands clasped behind his back as he stood there watching each floor pass by one by one. Until finally he had been sent to the entrance lobby, where Miss Minutes had been keeping their new visitor company. As the double doors opened up, he was stretched out upon the plush cushions of the couch. A small grin as he slowly moved to his feet. “Well, I can’t say I was expecting this kind of company.”
There’s slight surprise in his tone, taking in the appearance of the woman as he smoothed out his long robe. “Aren’t you extraordinary?” With a snap of his fingers, her handcuffs were removed. Though, a curious expression crossed his features. “And who might you be?”
