Hey! I'm new to macrame and bracelet making but I want to learn how to make alpha pattern ones and I was wondering if you could recommend me any ways to learn! So far I've only done more simpler ones with normal patterns from the braceletbook.com but I haven't been able to find any good tutorials for alpha ones
This is what I used when first learning how alphas worked:
I think she tends to not cut the strings she’s weaving with though, I personally find it easier to not work with the whole thing of thread at once. I tend to cut it using my own wingspan to measure, which is around 60”. Just do whatever works best for you though!
I started using triangle knots to start and finish as well, makes it look a bit neater:
For the triangle at the bottom end she advises to start grouping them in the middle, but I have an easier time making it look neat by starting from the outer ends. Again, just a preference, it takes some trial and error and just looking at how it comes out to get it how you want.

There are a LOT of loop methods you can find, I just like this one. If you do use this one, I’ve found it works to go into two triangle knots and then join them together.
If you still have any more specific questions, I’d be happy to elaborate! Hope this is helpful ✨✨✨
Gift to a friend of mine who’s a big Harry Styles fan

Autobot Christmas ornament I finished today! 50x50 pattern, took forever (hence the lateness), but regardless- I like how it turned out 😄
Shhh it’s still Halloween
Happy Halloween!🧙♀️
Went for an orange popsicle vibe with this one
Finished!
