Violence in a Globalized World and Why is Happening?

What does Globalization mean?

Globalization should bring connectivity and unification between people, institutions, companies and governments at an international level. As a result, such a process sparked interest while traditional societies began to transition into modern nations. Since, citizens are wondering if this is the road leading to universal progress and peace or not?

Whom is Globalization benefiting in fact?

Globalization should benefit the people. Unfortunately, as anticipated by humble academic scholars and historical evidence since the 19th century is proven that bourgeois and their political interest are changing the connotation of a Globalized World. Universal elites’ actors and their grid of power and wealth only provoke chaos instead. Consequently, it looks like neoliberalism only benefits the West.

Why so much Violence in the process?

We live in a 9/11 post era. Unfortunately events present us with a sad reality. Globalization brings more wealth and power to the center rather than to the periphery. Thereby as neoliberalism settles universally and as inequality arises each day, violence does not fail its appearance. New imperialist and appealing themes are sickening societies by imitating western cultures. Meanwhile, others get exploited with ought any potential.

What do we stand for?

We are born free. Therefore, we stand for freedom. Moreover, we stand for equality, peace, human rights and a continuously evolving culture where everyone can thrive a meaningful and loving life.

What now?

An unequal reform leads to a disastrous universal revolution. The fact is that Globalization is here to stay. Nonetheless, it is up to us as a new universal nation to accept a false promised reform or discover our voices and pursue a whole egalitarian space and a decentralized structure that benefits an entire orb.

What is Cultural Globalization anyways?

In a world where everything moves at such a frenetic pace, Cultural Globalization is attending. It is regarded as the sharing of values, beliefs and behaviours internationally in a way that builds up stronger connections among people worldwide.

How Cultural Globalization is reaching mankind all over?

This day we are all interconnected and closer than ever before. Pop Cultures play an extensive role in sharing information across the world. Therefore, a powerful influence can easily be virally transmitted abroad. Commodification is achieving increased multinational grounds.

Is Cultural Globalization an Anglo-American Global Domination?

Considering all the MNC started from the USA like McDonald's, Walmart, Disney, Coca Cola, Nike, Starbucks alike so many others that are shared globally and even implemented in other cultures as their own, we would think so. Moreover, the English language is spoken everywhere as a second language, Hollywood movies are streamed internationally, American music and brands are too consumed overseas. Each one of these examples mentioned above is evidence that Cultural Globalization is intensely dominated by Americanisation.  

What about Hybridisation and Cultural Appropriation?

The truth is that all cultures experience some sort of influence from outside; some encounter American domination and others face westernized mastery. In the end, lifestyles are commonly affected even though some are less than others.

Unfortunately, people are uninformed. Consequently, the adoption of appropriation between more traditions will end up in western values taking over others due to higher superiority and government control of realizing only information representing their own interest.

Colonial attempts are not welcome!

Let us raise awareness and aim for more cosmopolitan values! The imperialism of the west is historical. We should stay aware and pursue cosmopolitanism for a brighter and kinder future.

In a Globalized World, public Health is making quite headlines on social media. The diversity of issues in the field needs to be understood and addressed for better handling. Accordingly, the more we have access to information and knowledge about living in a globalized era, the more we sense our surroundings, and the more is attained.

More Public Health attention than any other century before!

Sadly, such modern interconnectivity in a natural state of progress is undoubtedly bringing a diverse new challenge on the agenda. Outbreaks like Swine Flu, Ebola and Corona Virus are just a few of the flares in the 21-century due to the whole wave called Globalization.

As observed, such topics like Public Health and Globalization grow as one. Moving forward, our attention toward the discussed matter is pivotal. We need to acquaint ourselves and have a good grasp of information on both the impact and the outcome of Globalization. Remember, Public Health is part of the whole picture.

Many health practitioners worldwide speak out on various media channels about the actual situation dealing with a pandemic behind closed doors throughout the coronavirus spread. Public Health Global Crisis is natural and occurs more often than before. Such occurrences need to be taken seriously and identified a long time before a pandemic rise.

A healthy global consciousness and a shared learned experience can help our health system deal with a future pandemic event like coronavirus. We need supportive governments that understand Globalization for proper conditions to be created and spoken openly about. Hence, our global citizens and universal agencies can accumulate new knowledge and adapt to any future possible pandemic episodes.

Globalization is unstoppable!

It happens organically. Therefore, change needs to happen in a broader political spectrum before a well-balanced future.

Environmental Degradation and Climate Change are factual!

Unfortunately, the disintegration of Planet Earth affects everyone frequently. It is essential to discuss and expose ecological decay and some personal collisions related to climate change as it brings more awareness to the different inclusive audiences reading this. Such a topic has a strong connection to the entire process of globalization, and without the thoughtfulness of sharing, nothing will improve moving forward.

Pollution, along with many environmental catastrophes, arises without exception!

Phenomenon's like the Wildfires in California and Australia have shattered hectares of lands by dispatching different animal species and intoxicating the atmosphere disturbing countless societies worldwide. Moreover, mad floods, extreme winds and earthquakes are hardly any of the disastrous effects left behind through globalization.

The air we breathe and the food we consume represent our survival! 

Such has also been affected by globalization and climate change. Now more than ever, questioning the food we ingest and being conscious about planning to move out of big cities to stop inhaling harmful impurity levels became a priority.

Change is the answer!

Extreme international freight and passenger transport results in severe global warming. These impacts affect the entire human and ecological system. Revamping internationalization will smooth its future process allowing us, the human species, and the whole ecological system to exist. Nevertheless, I have confidence in a globalizing world as it increases interconnectivity and brings societies closer. Forging ahead, change in globalization should become a prime concern when mentioning unfavourable ecological deterioration outcomes.
