So I was half way through transforming that boring white onesie, and I suddenly got inspired to turn this very wide t-shirt(first pic, placed over my onesie) into a cuter tank top. I didn’t really like how the tank top looked when I finished (pic 2&3), so I ended up turning it into a onesie! Forgot to take pics of that part because I was so into the project, oops. The blue ruffle part is made from a pair of leggings. I used Velcro instead of snaps for the crotch. Even though I used the type of Velcro that’s used for baby clothes (super thin and soft), they’re still not super comfortable, so I’d probably change that if I were to do this again. I also would have put the ruffles lower if the shirt was longer. TBH I’m pretty surprised I had (barely) enough fabric. If I were to do a lace-up back again, I’d make the gap between them larger so the laces are more apparent.

Lol this took me soooo long to do, I kept messing up. The amount of threads left on the product was astounding, it took me half an hour just to cut those off 😂😂😂but worth it!! Not only is it WAY cuter, it also fits better!
