Being a country used to feel like a job to me. Not to say that I have never enjoyed it or found it an important aspect of my identity. It certainly is. It’s only that I kept a fair bit of distance between my political life and my private life.

Now that I have nothing left of both, I am not sure what to do. From the looks of things being a country must become my private life, something the average person will not know about. It’s a strange situation to be in but at least I won’t be recognised.
