Look Outside fan and #1 Lyle hater. dont come at me with Lyle love, I will murder you. (jokes aside I'm just happy to be here, dunno how this tumblr thing works as a whole but I'll try)
But before we get into that, I wanna explain his role in the party. Cree is the bruiser/status effect guy. On top of having basic special moves like impale or reckless attack depending on the weapon head he has equipped. His job is to take damage, apply status effects, and do even more damage when those enemies already have status effects applied. Hes a tanky melee only bruiser as you know, and he is built to excell in melee only combat. After all, without being mutated, melee is all that he has. He remember, he cant even use throwables!
Would love to hear yalls opinions on his skill list, feedback and all that. Things I should tweak even if its just gonna be a concept. But have fun with the read~
Right now is just cree's tree, but the others will get theirs soon, even percy. Even tho percy is a special case being the almost GB form for Cree until later in his events. Point is, ive waffled on, and decided to make skills fo the fellas.
Hope you enjoy and tell me what you think! >:)

Seraph AS the world started to go to shit. A bit cliche with what he does but its in character for him to focus on that, even while the world's burning out there. But.. knowing how Anton and the kid don't get brought up later in the lore... I think you can guess what happened to them. >:)
Seraph entered the dispensary, adjusting his shaggy red T-shirt and jeans. The bell rung out, and Anton looked over the counter from his huddled position.
"Seraph! You're here early!"
"Damn right I am, Currier's wife let me know this morning. Right after she called you, actually."
Seraph went behind the counter, stamping his timecard with the time clock. It was late—But earlier than what Seraph preferred his shifts be at. But, considering the circumstances, he wasn't too upset about stepping in.
"Good, good. How's the girl?"
He turned his head to meet Anton, who stood up and wore a smile, a baked smile, but a smile nonetheless.
"Went home today," Seraph said, "doesnt mean I didn't get a kiss before she left."
Anton and Seraph shared a chuckle, and Seraph stationed himself at the till, leaning over the glass countertop and he stationed his eyes at the door. For several minutes, there was nothing—While it wasn't uncommon for there to be breaks in between customers. Something about today made Seraph feel off. He scorned the door, almost as if he suspected it of eating anyone who dared walk through. No further chatter happened between the two men, there was just the clinking of containers.
There was a bang, the crying of bending metal... then silence. The both of them were now watching that door with anticipation, with fear. Then it happened. Someone burst through the store's door. Groveling and crying...? It was hard to discern whether it was crying or laughing, or even both.
"God damn, man!" Anton shrieked.
"Oh fuck a duck on the back of a truck—"
Seraph almost lunged over the table, the man falling over in the middle of the store. Clutching his bleeding chest. Anton hurriedly scavenged the cabinets for the emergency kit. Seraph lifted the man's arm over his shoulder, hauling him over to a wall where he put the man down. His eyes drifted to the large streak of blood from the groveling and grumbling man.
"Fuckin' bastard. This is going to be hell to clean up."
He wiped what blood he could from his hands, Anton rushing over to the wounded crying man. Packing gauze down into bleeding orafaces to mitigate the blood loss. Seraph scurriedly dialed 911. Calling the man who stumbled in several swears under his breath, the scent of iron lashing up to his nose.
"What happened?"
"My–My kids—Still in the car...it...I couldn't look away."
It sounded like drunk sobbing. For the first time the man looked up, letting them see the grotesque grin that had imprinted on his face. His lips were purple—Or were they black? Seraph couldn't tell, all he could say was that it looked bruised. His attention diverted from the ringing phone, the hotline hasn't picked up. His chest went empty upon hearing about children.
"You were drunk driving with KIDS?!"
Seraph was almost about to kill the man himself, before the man's eyes flared up with tears. His cheeks seemed to melt, and twist. As skin twisted and formed.
"No—! Please—Get them out..."
Seraph gave Anton his phone, who looked at him with shaking, pitiful eyes. His skin was whiter than paper.
"Watch over him—"
"Seraph you cant g-"
Before Anton could even finish his sentence, Seraph had fated himself. He stepped outside the door, into the street where he was met with screams, laughter, sirens, car horns, he almost heard it all. He saw brilliant colors, colors of something that expanded, moved, breathed, felt... He felt things he never had before, felt things he had felt before. The longer he looked at it—The more he basked in its beauty...
...He jerked his head away, he turned to the burning car down the street. He began to run, his feet plapped against the sidewalk. Against all temptation, he looked away from the sky. Then he saw it again. New eyes. He felt new eyes. He saw it again. He saw people in windows moving like wisps.
He looked further down, he dripped down his own sleeve. Down his own chest. He felt the asphalt against his feet, legs.. was he on his knees?
No, he wasn't, he couldn't move his toes. He could barely move his arms. But he pushed forwards. He closed his eyes. But, no matter how hard he tried, they wouldn't close. They couldn't close.
He clenched onto the heated steel. His mass encroaching and melting to match it as he peeled through the window.
In the passenger seat was a woman—About the age of the man who had stumbled in. Skewered and pin cushioned by broken glass. Eyes forced wide open, with fire burning at the flesh of her mouth. Filling Seraph's nose with the smell of burnt rubber. He felt himself melting, liqeufying as the heat encroached.
He looked into the back seat. One corpse, one booster seat. A little... girl? Boy? He couldn't tell... The brilliant colors, the brilliant feeling still ruptured his mind. It felt so good that it hurt. He tried jerking the door open. The steel cried, but it refused to relent.
He whinged, but he forced himself through the shattered window. His body twisting, morphing. The broken glass embedding itself into his rubbery body. The toddler roared in cries at his appearance, kicking and screaming. Even though his ears were gone, he could still make out thr child screaming for 'mama.' His rubbery hand wrapped around the child's face, covering their eyes so that they may not witness the brilliance—They were too young to have to feel the brilliance.
He felt his vision spinning, he could see in all directions... He saw monsters roaming the streets. He knew he had to act fast. Even the brilliance's blissful pain had faded. He carefully lifted the child up, hooking its legs with a tendril of wax. He held its head gently against his chest. It still thrashed and screamed, but seraph held no animosity... if he could he would do the same... but he's fairly certain he doesn't have a mouth anymore...
He rushed back to the dispensary, ramming through the doors in his slug-thing form. His body stiffening as he escaped the heat.
The store was thrashed... in the middle lay the corpse of some... black thing. With an eye in the stomach.. sharpened claws at the end of each hand.. His stomach churned, or it would if he had one... Anton was backed away in the corner, looking on at seraph with fear.
"What the fuck are you looking at—"
"STAY AWAY!"
Anton raised a piece of broken glass, his hands covered in blood. His eyes shook, and seraph barked.
"ITS ME, SERAPH—"
Anton's guard lowered for a moment... Seraph put the child down on their feet. They tried running to the door, but seraph stopped them. A long stringy limb growing to wrap around the child.
"He—He attacked me."
Anton looked down at the corpse, gagging at its presence.
"He started... twisting. Losing his face—He... Oh god... what happened out there?"
"I don't bloody know, mate. All I know is that we have an orphaned kid—something out there that makes you look at it. It does something to you—"
"Do you kn...know what you are now?"
"No..."
"I don't think you want to know it either."
Seraph's eyes, all sixty six of them looked toward the child... then they looked toward Anton. His goopy, broken, half solid half liquid body shaking and waving... he choked on his own spit... or was that his heart? His lung? Maybe pancreas? He... couldn't tell. They all felt like the same thing now.
Thinking about Seraph, and the kind of asshat he is.
Just imagining him and Sam ragebaiting Toxic fred together. Or what he'd wear to heartfelt events, or even if the others went out to some sort of apocalypse tavern in no going back.
Hes the type of guy to unironically have a hat that says "Bigfoot is real and he tried to eat my ass."
And its just great to think of this Irish prick being funny at parties or absolutely giving friends some hell for a laugh.
I haven't posted anything in a bit, so now you guys have to deal with scrappy cree writings because this fat insignificant fuck requires the most attention. Plus its fun to get some practice in trying to write his unique brand of angst (trying to capture this guy's low self esteem properly.)
It felt—Weird? Was that the way to describe it? It didn't feel good by any means. The iron scrap metal underneath his skin poked and prodded, his face was peeling still. Even in the dead of night, it felt like he was being watched.
His head sat against door 33, the rust from the metal of his head scraping against the wooden door. 'Percy' was long gone. Whatever this thing was—This extra voice—it was not Percy.
He knew it wasn't. He knew what it wanted. He knew it wanted control—It wanted to be the the lead. He clenched his face, trying to sate the rising frustration. Another huge lap of skin beginning to fall off. In a panic he scuffed about, trying to place his falling glob of face back into place as if it would just stick, and not just hang and flab about like the weight of his stomach.
A part of him wanted to cry—wallow away in the hallway. And, maybe a few tears did begin to run down his skin-stretched face. It hurt—and he knew it was his fault. Noone else's but his.
He wanted to talk, he wanted to roar ane cry and just tell someone about it. He wanted to be guided, he wanted this to end, he just wanted to be happy, he just wanted to help... and now he's like this. Defeated by his own bare hands. Part of him decided to give up, just let this thing take over—It was more affable. More friendly. More competent. Hell, it could wield a gun if they needed it to. He couldn't even throw a grenade. It was just better than him.
All he had was this stupid weapon—Maybe he could take a punch or two—But will that even be enough for long? He could barely hold his own in the basement—Fading in and out of consciousness—The scent of smelling salts eventually made his nose bleed with how much they had to use to get him off the ground.
His hand was wet now, wiping the tears away from his leather-like face.. his nose felt stuffy, and he choked on his own breath. It felt good to let it all out finally, even if he could only do so quietly.
He didn't want to bother them after all.
The fat man tucked in his knees, putting his head on his kneecaps and closed his eyes.
Maybe when he wakes up, it'd all have been a bad dream. He'd be back to normal. He'd be in their apartment again, and maybe... just maybe... He'd see Percy heading off to work.
He had to hope, even if he knew it would never be true. He had to hope that there was a chance that the last five years of his life has been nothing but a bad nightmare.
Please, oh God, please let it just be a nightmare. He can't keep going on like this.
Random quotes from the look outside oc gang of mine!~ no tewi tho, because... I frankly dont know what she'd say without having a panic attack at every turn..poor girl. Ain't much but some of them are funny. Hope its a fun quick read. Also cree is such a loser istg.
Seraph, after you kiss Lyle:
"Drinking bleach would be more preferable than seeing that again."
Cree, upon visiting his apartment:
"Well if I knew I was going to have visitors, I woulda tried to tidy up a bit.. hah...ha...
...
...Yeah I know its bad. "
Cree, meeting Louis:
"HOLY SHIT? YOU'RE A FURRY?—or scalie?—Agh, no i ain't judgin'. Just never met one in real life, or... seen one in... Costume. Or is it suit? Both? Both are good? Okay, still, sorry."
Masky, upon seeing Benjamin:
"...Oh... oh, poor baby... we just.... didn't we...?"
Masky, in the Hellrider:
"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SAM! FIGHT!"
Masky, upon getting home after interacting with Pierre:
"...Sam...Do you have... What's it called... Caulrophobia by chance? Didn't want to say it... there, especially with... the already existing factors."
Cree, during conversation with the Exalted Four:
"We can't just let this thing roam free, Sam—We have to kill it. Or, at least *try...* what do you think?"
Seraph, after you ask the exalted four if the visitor is God ("GOD God? Like, from The Bible? Yahweh? I'm rollin' my eyes - all 24 of 'em! WE look more like a Bible thing than it does!")
"Yeah.. I can agree there. But, hey, im 40 eyes ahead of you!"
Cree, before the last question has been asked with the exalted four:
"...With or without you, Sam. I'm at least trying. If you run, Run like a bat outta hell. Ya'ere me?"
Percy, after asking the exalted 4 their weaknesses:
"Bullets, eh? I think I can oblige."
Cree, when you get to the roof:
"...Wow... we... We never stood a chance, did we?"
Cree, talking to the FaceTaker mid battle:
"You're just a couple clowns short of a circus, ain'tcha ya shiiyyeeet."
Masky, upon entering the *Flesh* apartment in the taxidermy apartment:
"Oh we just keep going up Shit's creek, huh? I think we just dropped the paddle."
Seraph on the last question with the exalted four:
"It's Hell or Highwater now, laddy. Which are we pickin? I'm personally leanin' toward highwater when compared to biblically accurate hell."
Please never harass anyone in defense of Look Outside or its community.
Do not make this community into a garbage heap please. Don't be a creep or a piece of shit on my behalf. It's okay to criticize the game or its community.
Also if someone is being hit by harassment its not the right time to bring your Concerns to them, it will just look like more, thinly veiled harassment. Leave them alone.
While my blog isn't exactly the place you expect this, especially a day late. The post from the big man himself deserves to be here.
This kind of harassment shouldn't happen, and while i may not know Juni personally, it just. Sucks knowing it did happen, yknow? Especially as a fan of their works?
Idk why im rambling this just sucks, but. Even though he shouldn't have to, im just glad Frankie stepped in.
I wish there were more encounters lambasting other characters in look outside for things they've done to the rat child. You guys get me?
Like Montgomery and Xaria, or just Critiquing how rough Papineau was with the rat child while washing it.
Which i have to say are very opposite ends of the spectrum, personally when I saw Xaria kick the rat is already a "Oh one more time and im gonna XP grind your ass." But when Montgomery set him on fire, it was jusy immediately our when compared to Papineau who reqlly more so felt like washing an unruly toddler. Although Monty isn't outwardly malicious, his indifference to when Ratthew got burned as a message to me to say "These two need to get out." Xaria is a physical threat with her temper and... to put it blunt Monty is stupid and happens to be a pyro. In the apartment he to me feels more like a waiting liability than anything, but I wouldn't wish the two kids death, you get me?
But my point is, it would be nice for interactions or events that directly talk about other events that had happened, especially toward the rat child, you feel me?
Like a "Hey, Papineau, be careful with Ratthew. I know hes a rat and its your duty to fight chaos, but he can't help what he is and he loves us, especially Sam"
Or just, straight up ready to throw hands with Xaria and Monty the moment they show their faces outside of the bedroom for what they did to Ratthew.
I might do so with my ocs, add these special events for them, what ifs, but imo it would've been so cool to see other characters be characterized for how they critique each other atound the rat child. You guys get me?
With the new 2.0 update for look outside. I thought it would be fun to write some events about the new things added. These events follow Seraph and Tewi To two party members in particular.
If you've not managed to see the things im referring to, I reccomend you do. Theyre amazing just like Look Outside as a whole. But spoiler warning for the events ahead. Although they are a bit more fanfic basically for Seraph lmao.
Seraph event with Leigh after Her quest (Maybe you can be both The Beast and Leigh):
The air seems tense, it was a rare moment of weakness for Leigh. She was playing with the ring from 'Grasshopper,' looking at it with a sorrowful grimace.
Seraph looked over the cushions, his waxy form leaning over the couch, melting to meet it's shape. His eyes seemed to be swelling, this was possibly the most emotion you've seen him show around Leigh that wasn't pure anger. He bit his lip to match the long silence.
"What was he like, Leigh?"
Leigh jumped at the sudden noise, her head turned to him and she almost wanted to curse his name. She growled.
"He was noone! It doesn't matter anymore. He was something to Leigh, I'm the BEAST! He doesn't mean anything to me!"
Seraph sighed, moving around the couch and sitting next to her. Leaning forward, and turning his head to face her.
"You hold that ring near and dear to your heart for a nobody then?"
Leigh frowned, turning away. Seraph sighed, before he put his hand on the table.
"I had a lass i was sweet on before this."
"Y-yeah? Whats your point?"
"My point is... To whatever bit of the bird that this Grasshopper loved is left. I'm sorry."
Leigh froze. Her fists clenched and her nails began digging into her palm.
"..."
"I know we don't see eye to eye to eyes. But, I'd like to think im somewhat of a gentleman, you see. I know The Beast isn't too fond of the idea, but... If Leigh ever needs someone to talk to, I'd be willing to at least lend an ear. That sorted?"
Leigh doesn't respond, fiddling with the ring still. Seraph sighed, standing up and patting her shoulder. His melted hand splashing over, before he turns away and heads back to the corner of the room, leaving Leigh to her woes.

Tewi and Dan after his quest (You have me, Dan)
"Right, dudes! Isn't this meal AWESOME?! gotta say, Sam's growing to be an awesome cook!"
Dan is showing his plate off to the camera, lauding over the food he has. Tewi, however had her eyes locked on Dan... she seemed somehow more and less sad than she had been.
"How long have you been streaming, Herr Daniel?"
"Aye aye! Don't use the full name, Chat will get—...Ah there they go."
"I'm serious."
"Aw, mods can you handle this for a second? Well Miss Dohm! I've been doing it for at least a couple years now."
Tewi leans over the table, her eyes dead set on the dark man across from him.
"...Why did you start streaming?"
Dan froze for a second, his smile dissipated for a second, before it returned with unsettling speed.
"Hey hey! It'd be a shame to let this smile be locked away from the world, eh?"
Dan tried laughing, it sounded almost like a cry, or a whine. He held his hand up to his face, as his breathing started to halt for for a second.
Tewi's frown pulled her face into a droop, her eyes were glossy as she looked at him.
"We love you, Dan. Know that. Not just the smile, but the man."
Dan's lip quivered, and tears welled in the corner of his eyes.
"I...
...
..."
The silence was deafeningly loud, Dan's hand clenched the camera. Almost hard enough to break it in his hand. He bit his lip to hold back his words... but after a few seconds, that smile came back.
"Hehe! Would you look at that chat! A real tear jerker, huh? Only with Dan would you get such quality!"
Tewi solemnly looked down at her plate, her face reminds you of when she was staring right at the bus after you had to...
...
Dan goes back to his usual antics, and Tewi doesn't say another word the entire meal.
No writing today but, there is some oc stuff I wanna share for Look outside. Mostly just fun little factoids about my little lot of characters
(If you haven't read anything on this page about them yet, do so. Not cree tho, hes the worst/j)
First off lets start with masky
She's left hand dominant, her favorite color is purple, she has a clicker on her tool belt She plays with while thinking. She listens to mostly country, none of that "im gonna make you my wife" country or gospel with an accent, more so stuff like "Country roads." However, she does love a good love song, she isn't the most keen on pop, but does enjoy a bit of rock. She loves cars and guns, but especially cars. She has old car magazines she looks through, she loves learning about the history of cars, she loves working on cars. She can, and will, go on and on for hours about suspension, the motor, the battery, the headlights, the brakes. Honestly, it might just be wheels, because she loves tinkering with bikes as well. She's just a little creature.
Tewi has hyperhidrosis, One of her biggest woes is that she just has so many damn fucking HANDS, and theyre ALWAYS SWEATY. She has a bit of a breathing issue, where when she's stressed she'll just hold her breath for like a minute before exhaling like she was being waterboarded. She likes indigo blue things, and she is fascinated by ants and bugs. While she doesn't have a big enough interest to warrant going into entymology, she knows a good bit about insects and if it wasn't for her own fears of an infestation in case things went wrong, she woukd have loved to have an ant colony back in her home for her and her daughter to bond over. She also likes stews, alot. Especially with a good stew bread. Stew is a good way to help get the tears off her face when she starts thinking of Eleanore again.
Seraph is an amateur speedrunner. He was doing Super jumplad run attempts in his free time after work before all of this. He loves animals, specifically reptiles. He's always wanted a monitor lizard, and honestly just loves how stupid the things look. He has a secret soft spot for gardening as well, he liked growing tomatoes on his balcony. Horribly allergic to cats though, he loves them. But they make his nose stuffy as hell, make his eyes itch too. Which as you can imagine in his current form.. isnt the best. He's ambidextrous, and quite honestly, a heavy sleeper. You kinda gotta kick him in the morning to wake him up, or else he's snoozin' til he wakes up himself..(hes snoozin' for a bruisin')
Now Cree, My behated (i dont actually hate him he is just proving to need a lot of work and attention to get right), he is just an all around dork. He loves making stuff, he doesn't really work to design big things, he usually prefers making handheld things. Things like crank-powered lights, or miniature steam engines (you know the ones im talking about). He just has a fascination with seeing things moving mechanically. He is also a HUGE dice goblin. He's never played a game of Mazes & wizards, but he has so many dice just because he likes the sound they make when hes rolling them. He's also a pretty good singer, nothing award winning, but he does sing to himself while working. He has a bad habit of staring (hes mostly spacing out, not staring intentionally). His sleep style is also weird, he sleeps like a bunch of rocks, but the moment someone even faintly says his name, he's sitting right up like a soldier in service. His favorite food is instant Ramen, if you didnt know. Specifically chicken flavored instant ramen. He would live off that for the rest of his life if he could.
Look at this little guy omg i woukd kill every universe of Lyle for this little guy. Look at him i love him so much, I named him Ratthew. Say hi ratthew
