Baldur's Gate 3 is a great game because you get to break into an old woman's house and sucker punch her and be completely in the right for doing so.

How it felt to aggro the entire goblin camp in order to save a random level one NPC from a scripted death in the spider pit (all he has to offer in return is his thanks). I'm a punk rocker, yes I am.
Was doing some expression practice the other day, and this image popped into my head fully formed. Naturally, I had to do it.
Did a pen sketch of The Doorman this evening on a lark while waiting for my duo partner to come online. I noticed that the hat was a bit too short about halfway through. Whoops. Such is the nature of working with ink.
tfw the public chose a stupid, narcissistic predator who attempted an autogolpe because gas prices were too high and then he tariffs everything and unilaterally starts a war with a country that has a "make gas prices skyrocket" lever after years of lying about how his opponents want to start a war with that very country
I've shied away from painting since I started learning art a couple years back, but once I got some good instruction, I ended up having a lot of fun with it. Been watching Bridgerton with my partner, so when I had to do a few portraits for an assignment, I did several of the Bridgerton cast, and this one came out by far the best, I think.
If you look around her collar, you can find the exact moment where I went, "OK, I want to be done with this now" lol
A little doodle comic inspired by an actual exchange I really witnessed in a real game of Deadlock. For those lacking context: Sinclair, the magician dude, is a spellcaster sort of character. This player *built all melee and close-range brawler items* and proceeded to try to punch the enemy team to death from minute one. It didn't work.
Genuinely this is one of the most beautifully animated things I've seen since the golden age of animation. I could actually cry for how much love they put into this jfc what a beautiful homage
Full cel animation from a Western studio in the 2nd quarter of the 21st century. Fucking cinema.
Someone fandubbed the Eva fanmanga ksandraal and I made a while back! I was so stoked to see the notification in my inbox when they tagged me on other platforms--I had never expected someone to do this. Made my evening when I saw it. The cast is:
Misato: @emerisato
Shinji: @durandalva117
Asuka: @SoyruNoSurrender
(all on instagram)
Doodled this a while back when I rewatched Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky. There's a scene where the protagonist uses an enemy MS as a human shield and then throws him at his main rival. Funnily enough, that particular war crime isn't in the source manga, but later on in it, he uses a different enemy MS as a shield under similar circumstances.
This popped into my head when I was playing Deadlock and I heard Seven's character select line,
With these hands, I will destroy. With these hands, I will create.
Which I am pretty positive is a reference to the lyric from The Protomen's song The Good Doctor,
With these hands we will destroy With these hands we will rebuild
Congrats, Apolloheads! Way to wait it out : ) (For those unfamiliar, Valve's in-development game Deadlock just released six new characters over the span of three weeks as part of its Old Gods, New Blood update. Players voted on who to release on what day, and Apollo here came in dead last.)
Happy 24th birthday to Asuka Langley Soryu!
They're watching orange for movie night 'cuz she's the birthday girl.
PoV: you just got into an evangelion unit for the first time and you're still learning the controls
"But Misato-san, how are we supposed to get to Tokyo-3 with your car broken down?"
Another little meme doodle inspired by Episode one.
I love Shinji and Misato's conversation about the batteries she stole to get her car running again:
Shinji (looking at the batteries, and then at Misato with a skeptical expression): Are you sure you can just take those? Misato: Never mind about that! It's an emergency, and we need a working car right now, right? And I'm an international government official, after all, so everything's going to be perfectly fine, OK? Shinji: I don't think anyone will buy that.
It's such a good introductory character moment for both of them--it establishes both Misato's resourcefulness and her short fuse, and Shinji's deadpan snarker side--and it's just genuinely hilarious. NGE's ability to do comedy well is one of of its more unsung positive qualities, I think. + exploitable variants:
When the UN hits you with an N2 mine and it barely knocks the wind out of you. Thought it would be fun to do a couplea meme doodles for every episode of Eva, so here's one for the first half of episode one. Variants attached below:
