life update

hey y'all, I’m still alive but it’s been really busy and stressful for me to keep up with tumblr yet so I really don't  know when I’ll officially return

on a positive note, I finally got the courage to come out!! …I still need to come out to my dad and I’m still a bit concerned how he’ll take it and the possible criticism from other family members but at least everyone I’ve told so far has been super supportive and accepting and that’s all I really needed cause I had no idea everyone would be this chill with it tbh

But, I think the account bound hoodie should have only been handed out to those that did it do all the quests, every day. Also, not a fan of the account bound items. Some of us don’t like the item, but would have liked some SP for it!

i’m probably going to get crucified for saying this but i think we as su crits should start looking into ourselves and the su critical community at large and just realize that su crits can be just as, sometimes even more, toxic than su stans. the entire dichotomy of crit and stan reinforces the idea of either kissing the ground that rebecky walks on or seeing her as the Literal Devil, to which i don’t necessarily subscribe to. i feel like we as a community place more importance on insulting stans than criticizing media, i don’t support calling su stans dumbasses unless they’ve proven their dumbassery. sometimes su crits can be pretentious and have a general ‘holier than thou’ attitude towards stans or just regular fans. blogs like critical-of-critical really just taught me something, despite not agreeing with them on most things, and it’s that we’ve become vile, we need to introspect and see where we went wrong, we need to start becoming critical of our community. i’m still going to be su critical, but i’m also going to start being more openly community critical.
