today is a "having tf!Ambear thoughts" kinda night..... she's going to have such a hard time after escaping her kidnapping, isn't she?

She's spent such a long time being unable to trust that she is loved, that her friends care about her. And during this time, fake Sun Guard took advantage of her. May wormed his way to her side and had access to her every vulnerability. All for the bounty on her head.

Ambear trusted him as much as she could, even with the accusations against him. Even when she knew that he wasn't the real Sun Guard, she hoped that their friendship would be maintained and he wouldn't hurt her. Sure, maybe it was a bit foolish to think that but she believed she had no one else to trust.

And just as she was starting to open up to people more, when she decided that she was going to stop by her friend's villages and tell them how much they mean to her!! She was having a good day!!

something that i am curious about is how known the dragon riders are amongst the Summer Kingdom populace... or even outside its borders. Is the knowledge of the existence of real, modern dragon riders even known?

Obviously the rebels and spies are aware of them, as well as the merchants at the Capital and the odd person the riders might have found along their journey. We also know that some students have been receiving letters from home so it's not exactly a secret as to who are the dragon riders.

Are the students perhaps something akin to cryptics to the general public? it is funny to consider... perhaps the Capital merchants, city guards and pub barkeeps have crazy stories about the fabled dragon riders and they gossip with anyone who'll listen. or even stories among the rebels, those who come back alive from their encounters that is...

it is messed up how Legundo was finally starting to become more comfortable with his magic and how it was slowly becoming a big part of him, just for his mana to be taken away by his old dragon. like what do you meannnn.... he just built an iron wheel in the new ritual lab and he learned how to use his spells to neutralize the shadow figures quickly and efficiently. he was getting the hang of it!!

science and experiments are going to be what he's going to do to make himself useful but magic was starting to become a significant part in his life. his magic was going to go in tandem with the lab experiments. he can still do his experiments but it is going to be more difficult and dangerous

from now on, he cannot be rolling around in the same way as he was before, he's going to get himself killed. he almost got himself killed when fighting the rebel and that was with full mana! he fights with simple, kitchen iron knives for crying outloud!!!!

and the intentions of his old dragon are unclear. whether its to protect him or as a bargaining chip, i don't know. but what its done is put Legs in significant danger. and unless his hand is forced, i doubt that Legundo is going to the Dragon Crypt willingly any time soon

Iron Soul Legundo, who goes to the crypt basically once a week & gets blasted with ancient dragon mana every time, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
