It’s a little fluffy, but has a weird turn of events somehow. xD
Fuyuka walked through the mall and carefully looked around. She was lost and now walking alone and scared around. Fuyuka felt guilty for the others. They are probably searching for me and worry about me… I ruined everything! she throught and looked to the ground.
After walking for a couple of minutes she decided to stay and wait at the spot there she was right now.
“If this isn’t Fuyuka” someone called out and she turned around.
“Fudou-kun? What are you doing here?” Fuyuka asked surprised.
“Wow, what a nice greeting! I’m just sitting here and doing nothing” he said, pointed at the bench he was sitting on and looked at her with a straight face.
“Oh! No, it wasn’t meant like that!” Fuyuka tried to explain, but Fudou just looked bored.
“Man, you’re no fun at all, girl. Calm down” after Fudou said that an awkward silence started.
Fudou and Fuyuka didn’t knew what to talk about. they never really talk much and it bothered the boy obviously. “So, tell me, what are you doing here?” Fudou asked and seemed surprisingly interested all of the sudden. “I was shopping with the other girls, but I got lost” she explained honest. Fudou nodded. “Alright” he stood up. “Have fun finding the manager girls” he walked past her and disappeared into the crowd of people. Fuyuka sighed deeply.
He could have helped me find them! But no, he just leaves me alone again! She thought angrily, but calmed down after a few seconds.
It’s not like we are close or anything. Again she sighed deeply and looked around.
“Hey, Fuyuka!” someone called again. This time it were Aki and Haruna. “Aki-san, Haruna-san!” Fuyuka said and felt incredible relived to see them. They hugged each other tightly. “Where were you?” Harina asked and Fuyuka could hear the worry in her voice. “I’m sorry! I wasn’t paying attention and got lost!” Fuyuka told them the situation and the two girls hugged her again. “I’m just glad, that we met Fudou. He told us that you’re here” Aki said and Fuyukas eyes widen. “really?” she asked and the girls nodded again.
“Let’s go home, yeah?” Haruna asked after they went shopping for almost two hours. Fuyuka smiled happy and agreed together with Aki. “Yes, then see you tomorrow!” They yelled and parted ways. Fuyuka was on her way home humming a certain unknown melody to herself. She stopped in her tracks as she heard some painful screams.
Her eyes widen terrified, her legs started shaking, her mind went blank.
What should I do? she asked herself.
Clearly scared about this situation. This person needs help, but what can she possible do?
I can do nothing. Nothing at all! I’m just a weak girl. She bite her lip and throught about running away, but a second scream brought her back to reality.
I need to help! Fuyuka decided and quickly called the police, after that she walked to the alley and saw a bunch of scary guys kicking a boy on the ground. He didn’t screamed anymore. He was just laying there and looked like he was barely breathing.
“Please! Stop it!” Fuyuka yelled and these scary guys turned around. Her legs started shaking again, her whole body was trembling. “Please, stop! You will kill him like that!” she tried to calm them down, but the guys just walked in her direction. Fuyuka took a few steps back, but it didn’t helped. After a few seconds she hit a wall behind her.
Oh no! I need to think of something! Her mind started racing but she couldn’t think of something useful. One guy of the group punched her in the face and Fuyuka came back to reality with a shock. She felt a tear rolling down her cheek.
That hurted! her anger rised and she punched him back into the face. The guy looked surprised at the girl before him. “Tsk” he clicked his tongue and kicked her in the stomach as hard as possible. Fuyuka felt how all strength left her body and how she fell to the ground.
“So you throught you could play the hero, eh?” The guy asked and laughed evil. “A little, weak girl wanted to play the hero! How pathetic!” The other people also started laughing and Fuyuka felt an unknown rage fill herself.
“I’m not playing” she continued and stood up. She tried to ignore the pain in her stomach, but it was even harder, than standing itself.
Her sharp words made the guy flinch. “What did you say?” He asked her with a treathing sound in his voice. “You heard me” Fuyuka answered and looked cold directly into his eyes. The pain got even worse every second, but she needed to stay strong! She couldn’t give up now!
“You… you little-!” The guy called out and started running towards Fuyuka again. She didn’t moved an inch, until the last second and the guy almost crashed into the wall behind her. Now she had enough space behind her and she could try something more risky.
“Are you scared?” Fuyuka asked provoking and it surprisingly worked. The guy was filled with rage. He took a little knife out of his pocket. “Enough! We are done playing now!” He called out and runned towards Fuyuka again.
A knife? I’m not sure if I can dodge a knife! But I need to try it!
Fuyuka felt the heavy pain in her stomach again. She got almost stabbed by the knife, but she could manage to dodge the knife in the last second. After that she held onto his wrist to throw him over herself to the ground. The second he hit the ground a loud crash was heard and a few peoples gasps in shock.
Phew! Fuyuka throught relieved.
She could also hear the sirens of the police. Finally!
At this moment she remembered the boy and runned back into the alley, but he was gone.
The police arrived and carefully listen and noted what happend and let Fuyuka leave soon.
The purple haired female searched worried around the area to find the boy who got beaten up, but she wasn’t lucky at all. She didn’t even knew how he looked like! She only knows that he got beaten up pretty bad, but she didn’t wanted to give up that easily, even when it all looks impossible.
Soon, she headed home, because it was already late and she gave up for today. At home Fuyuka went straight to her room and let herself fall on her bed obviously disappointed.
I hope he is alright! That was her last throught before falling asleep. Today was really exhausting.
The next day was rather relaxing, until practice started. Fuyuka checked on a list if someone is missing.
Fudou Akio. She read and looked around, but couldn’t find him.
“Hey, Aki-san? Haruna-san? Did you saw Fudou-kun today?” she asked a little worried, even if it’s nothing new that he would skip practice sometimes.
“No, I didn’t” Aki shook her head. “I didn’t saw him as well” Haruna said while also shaking her head.
“Why don’t we look for him? Maybe he went to sleep before practice somewhere?” Fuyuka only nodded with a worried expression on her face.
What if something happend to him? she shook her head.
I should stop thinking like that!
“Fuyuka?” Haruna asked and put a hand on her friends shoulder. “Everything okay?” She continued to talk, Fuyuka nodded and smiled politely. “I’m Sorry, I was day dreaming!”-“day dreaming? day dreaming about Fudou?” Haruna winked knowing. “N-no!” Fuyuka tried to save herself, but Haruna just kept on winking.
“Maybe a little…” she finally confessed and both, Haruna and Aki, hugged her. “Good luck with that one” Aki patted her head and smiled. Fuyuka felt her embarrassment rise and her cheeks turned red.
“Why don’t you look for him? He will be surely less annoyed, if it’s you!” Aki suggested and also started winking. “Please stop with the winking! I’m not interested in him! I think…” Fuyuka called a little too loud, because the boys stopped their practice and looked over to the managers. “Everything okay?” Endou asked and looked confused. The girls just started laughing, except Fuyuka. Fuyuka was way to embarrassed to laugh about Endou being clueless.
Without saying much she stood up and started walking away. “Fuyuka! Where are you going? We didn’t wanted to hurt you or anything! We’re sorry!” Haruna yelled after she stood up. Fuyuka turned around and smiled.
“I will do what you both told me. I will look for Fudou-kun! See you!” after she finished her sentence she left and searched for the brown haired teen.
Fuyuka searched at parcs, cafès and other places the male could had hide but found nothing, nothing at all. Frustrated, she began to slowly give up, but a similar silhouette brought her back to reality. She looked around and saw Fudou walking down the streets. “Fudou-kun!” Fuyuka yelled relieved and started running towards him, but Fudou started to run in the opposite direction.
Eh? Why is he running away? Is he hiding something? Did really something happend?
Worrys started to pop up in her mind and she speed up to catch up with Fudou, who was way faster than her. “Fudou-kun! Please wait! I need a break!” Fuyuka yelled out of breath while holding her stomach.
It still hurts so much! She throught painfully.
“I’m sorry… it’s all my fault” a male voice spoke and Fuyuka was so surprised, that she almost fell backwards. “Watch out!” Fudou yelled and grapped her wrist and sighed relieved. He took his hand away and looked to the ground. A hood hiding his face, his emotions and expression. Fuyuka didn’t know what to do or say.
“Fudou-kun? What happened?” She asked softly and tried to get his trust. “It’s my fault that you are hurt.”
“It’s not your fault! It was because of some guys yesterday and they were surely not you!” Fuyuka ignored the pain in her stomach and stood up straight. “It’s my fault for not paying enough attention!” She explained, but Fudou seemed to get smaller and smaller by every word she said.
“You don’t understand” that was the only thing he said, before turned away. He wanted to run away again, but Fuyuka grabbed his wrist. “If- If I don’t understand then please tell me” her eyes filled with frustration and sadness. Fudou felt a suddenly rage inside him. “Don’t you get it?” angry he took his hood of and Fuyuka gasped shocked. His face was bruised badly, a lot of new wounds, wich looked terrible and terrifying.
“It’s my fault that you got hurt, because I was too weak!” Fudou yelled angry, frustrated, sad and mostly helpless.
“If I would have been stronger than you wouldn’t had to help me!” Fudou yelled and leaned on a wall behind him.
“It’s all my fault” he wisphered and kept on blamed himself.
Fuyuka never saw Fudou in such a state, does anyone ever saw him like that? It didn’t suited his character at all, but that didn’t matter in this moment.
He blamed himself so much, he felt bad and Fuyuka couldn’t help, but feel sad to see him like that. She took his arm and pulled him away from the wall to hug him.
“W-what are you doing?” he asked embarrassed by the sudden action. “hugging you, of course!”-“but why? You shouldn’t get involved with me! I’m a bad influence… like you saw yesterday. If you get to close they will also be after you!” Fudou pushed her away, trying to protect her.
the person, who saved him yesterday. the person, who cared, when he was missing. the person, who believed in him.
It hurted him so much, but it’s the best for her.
“Akio” the sudden use of his first name shocked him. “It’s fine! I can take care of them on my own!” She laughed with her positive attitude. “Fuyuka! This is not a joke! These are people, who want to mess with me, because I left their group, when I joined Inazuma Japan. This is nothing you should deal with”-“were you always that caring?” the sudden change of topic confused the male. “I am not! I don’t want you to get involved that’s all! Don’t think like I care about you! I just don’t want to deal with a crybaby like you!” he felt really embarrassed, about her question. He didn’t cared about anyone, except himself! He is strong! Emotionally at least… right?
“Hey-” Fuyuka started to talk. “this are your true thoughts and feelings, right? Thank you for showing this side of you to me. I appreciate it! I guess, I really like this side on you.” continued Fuyuka honestly and held her hand on the place, where her heart was.
“I- I want to see more sides of you! Sides you always hide from always…” Fudous cheeks turned red.
“I- ehm. Yesterday, you were really cool. Kicking those guys ass, you know…” he wisphered quiet, but she heard it anyway.
“You think so?” Fuyuka smiled happy. “I’m glad, you think that! To be honest you always look cool and calm, when you play soccer! Even, when you expression is always teasing. I wanted to be like that too! Sometimes, I just wish I could play with you or against you… that would be fantastic!” Fuyuka blushed after finishing and Fudou already looked like a tomatoe.
“I- I also want to see sides on you nobody ever saw before, like yesterday.” Fudou replied and looked away after Fuyuka smiled bright. “and-” he continued.
“I love you” Fudou said it. He said, after many years, after many chances he missed, finally, he said what he truly throught.
“I love you too” Fuyuka took Fudous hand in hers and they both leaned slowly towards each other, the time seemeed to stop and finally their lips met. The kiss was shy and innocent, it was just a small moment, but it was the sweetest they ever experienced.
