“Um…i don’t think so.” Eric shrugged, his eyes narrowing as he tried to connect the dots. “But i don’t usually pay attention to the players’ faces, the game is what matters. I’m sure you’re good though.”

“I completely respect you for saying that. Honestly it is all about the game and not the names and faces. I’m Cody by the way.”

“i’m not a baseball fan, if we were talking about basketball or even soccer or whatever then — maybe”

“Fair enough. How are you feeling about my homies the Golden State Warriors this year?”

“Right…” he nodded. “Should I have?”

“Seems to be the go to answer around here. I’m Cody and I play for the San Fransisco Giants.”

“i don’t really watch sports, so no. i haven’t. are you any good? get some touch downs? wait no i think that’s another sport…” she paused biting her lip. “i’m not dumb i’ve just never watched it.”

“It’s homerun and no sweetheart it’s okay. I know you’re not dumb and it’s okay you have never watched baseball.” He smiles with a wide smile”I’m Cody by the way.”

“You probably wouldn't. You seem more of the type of guy who cares about hockey and politics.”

“No, well yes. I’ve never watched baseball in general.”

“That’s a fair answer. Not a lot of people watch baseball because they think it’s boring.”
