Vets are expensive.
Bit of real life stuff for a moment here.
I just got back from the vet with my cat, Hecate. Turns out she has diabetes. I learned how to give her her shots and am home with a box of syringes and a HUGE vet bill. I had to borrow the money just to get today taken care of, blood work and urine analysis and all. And it's just begun. $100 a month from now on for her insulin.
I cannot afford this. But I have no intention of losing my baby girl. I'm relieved it wasn't something worse but I'm upset and shaking because they told me before the results that if it's a specific kind of thing, they were going to recommend me putting her down right then and there. This is a far more acceptable situation of course but I don't know how I'm going to be able to pay for next month. Or pay back for the visit today, which cost $620. I have a week to figure just that part out. She goes in again for a whole ordeal on Monday morning.
I know times are hard for all of us but I'm not ready to lose her. She's not that old, and with the medicine they said she should brighten up and be herself again in no time. If you could please help me by sharing this with others, or by reaching out to me and assisting financially yourself. You can message me here, or my email is [email protected]
If you can, contact me and we can work something out so my baby can be happy and healthy again. She has many more years in her if she can get the medicine she needs. Thank you for your time.
