I’ve decided that it may be a good time for me to keep a journal or self-reflect on a slightly more regular basis. I am 99.9% certain no one that follows me even uses tumblr anymore, so this is really just for me.

Let’s start with some facts.

Hellooooooo world. I’m officially 28 whole ass years old, and married to the love of my life. We just moved across the country from New York to sunny San Diego California. My wife got a fantastic job opportunity and I got REALLY lucky with my own job that is supporting me with a remote role for a year. I have more free time than I have had since I started working at age 16 and I have no idea what to do with it.

I was speaking to my therapist/coach last week actually, and we decided that I’m similar to a dog that has been let off its leash. I officially start my days at 5:30AM and my day mostly wraps up by around 3/4PM.. I go to yoga and come home. Some days we drive to the beach to watch the sun set and enjoy the crashing of the waves. WHAT A DREAM am I right? I’m fucking painting again you guys. AND READING BOOKS.

but for the first time in over ten years... im unfufilled with work. at least right now... work is only taking up 50% of my brain and the work isn’t particularly stimulating. It’s almost as if I feel as if I’m not earning my free time.

I told you this post was just for me FYI - it’s boring and not interesting but I need to document these thoughts, the same way I have for the last 10+ years. so here it is. I’m literally living in paradise and finally doing things that I love on a regular basis. so im committing to all of YOU in the tumblr universe to embrace it. who the fuck knows when I’ll get this time again
