Hi! Omg your art is amazing. I was wondering if you had a pattern for your mothman tapestry project. I would love to purchase it from you. My partner is obsessed with mothman and I think this would make an amazing gift.
Thank you!! It’s actually a cross stitch pattern from etsy that I adapted a bit- I don’t recall the name of the shop but it should be one of the top results if you search it! Highly recommend btw, very nicely made pattern.
If you’re wanting to crochet it as a tapestry, I used worsted weight yarn with one hdc per cross stitch. Or sc if you crochet looser. Mine’s a blanket which involved weaving a ton of ends, but if you’re doing like a wall hanging I def recommend floating across the back to make your life easier!
3.5 months in, 1/3 done. Stitching a 2ft x 2ft project with 252 different colors seemed like a good idea at the time..
Working on a 115k stitch project and it sure would go a lot faster if my kitten didn’t need to be touching me at absolutely all times
My (partially colorblind) boyfriend gifted me yarn- and picked the colors out all by himself! I decided to embrace the chaos and make My Loud Sweater
One skein each of a merino/baby alpaca blend
Who’s that Pokémon? Gengar!
I’m quickly becoming obsessed with this blanket style
Who’s that Pokémon? Lapras!
Trying out a new blanket style and no ice type has the right to be this cozy
Hot off the hook, my Christmas blanket is done! And I already want to start another one for myself, surely I can find a spare 100 hours in the next couple weeks?
Acrylic yarn in overlay mosaic crochet, pattern from LittleGreenFeather on etsy!
A bit obsessed with Shallan’s naturalist style notebook entries, I’ve started embroidering my favorite bits. Reference page below the cut!
Knitting needles come in pairs so my sweater can live on one while my cat eats the other
The worst part about people knowing you crochet is how many holiday craft requests you get, I should be making like a ghoul rn.
But 50 hour checkpoint on my first overlay mosaic project and I’m finally getting the hang of it!
After four months and lots of breaks to preserve my eyesight, she is complete! All that’s left to do now is adding on a border and blocking to get rid of these wonky edges
Two fun facts about me:
I love using discontinued yarn
I am constantly shocked when I run out of said discontinued yarn too soon
The most recent result of this game I play, my small but lovely virus shawl
Didn’t want to bring too much yarn on vacation so I started on this silly little guy. 🦐 Pattern is from Le Filet Ancien, and I’ve charted him onto a basic sweater pattern
Another silly little guy from the pattern by @nichet-crochet ! He is difficult to photograph but lovely and kind
My first attempt at filet crochet, and first time using crochet thread. Basically, my hands hurt. But the pattern is halfway done and the hounds are nearly complete!
The Mothman is complete! Approx 4x6 ft, tapestry crochet. Just need to weave in some ends and block him, and maybe add some fringe(?) but the infinite color changes are finally over
