『☩』 NOW he truly got a sincere smile from him. A mocking one, yeah, but still sincere. With how long he had been alive, and how long ago had LYCANON fallen under the hand of its Tyrant King, one of the things Jack cared the least were other primordial werewolves— Let alone his children. ❝What do you think?❞. Jack stepped closer to the display of the Black Glass, bringing Finn closer with him, arm still around his shoulders almost as a sign of camaraderie. ❝Should I polish it or add a new SPIKE onto it?❞ His muscles tensed, bringing the other yet closer to his figure up to the point where he simply needed to lift his chin up to whisper into Finn’s ear. ❝I do not FEAR other wolves, and I certainly doubt it is my problem to save the species— HUMANS— that have corrupted the world as I knew it. This world could use some information about us all to open their eyes: The Wolves and the Vampires, the Shapeshifters, the Possessors, the Fallen❞. His lips brushed very gently against the cartilage of the man’s ear— he still wasn’t done with throwing innuendos at him. ❝I’ll HELP you, because I believe one way or the other you’re asking for my HELP. You can keep the glass too, if you want; I’m way past it. Just make sure to write down how big you’ll OWE me after I’m done with this BEAST, and be sure I’ll cash that debt❞.
A soft hum escaped the demon’s lips as the weight of the wolf’s bulging arm was followed by the scratch of his scruff – then that damn sweet whisper of his tone. Warm. Husky. Deep. But most of all it was the arrogance of it all that made Finn all weak in the knees and strong in the groin. Apparently the Great Wolf King of Lycanon still had that hubris in him like it just went on hibernation or something. Funny how those who lived beyond think that they know much when they’re just as mortal as the next husk of flesh. Just as MUNDANE. Sure, Finn needed help. They can stick with that.
❝I own a bar. Talent fee’s a talent fee— ❞ Finn shrugged as it was his turn to move up from the wolf’s hold and straightened up. ❝--I can even buy you a Happy Meal to lighten up the mood if you really need it. Or my dick in your mouth -- that’s how it goes in my bar when the dancers are done with their stint for Ladies Night,❞ he nodded as if sympathetic before he smiled at the other.
“There is no good cause that will spare an angel the punishment for rebellion.” Francis replied without even a moment of hesitation, gazing around the place as he moved to find items that would help with the scrying spell. “Though the act does dictate how severely they are punished, and what punishment will be delivered to them.”
At least Francis was used to this way of how angels dealt with these problems. He may be an archangel, but he was not among the great seven.
“Should your mind wander towards the gutter, angelic punishment does not include any acts of sexual nature.” Francis made a noise of victory, picking up an item that clearly did not belong to the victim or any other mortal that had been here.
“I believe I found something, did you succeed in finding more?”
❝ And here I was thinking about golden showers – my bad… ❞ Finn chuckled in teasing, before he kept a smile to himself and continued on with their little Nancy Drew moment. Francis was obviously all white in a universe where everything was nothing less than a multitude of colors gayer than the Pride Flag – just as any angel would be and will be as long as this bullshit concept of celestial free will is fed to them like candy in a children’s party. Which is good. Great. Francis might be a little bit too uptight for someone who has a body that could probably earn a good heft after a run at a Sinful Sunday night out down at Sodom, but it was exactly for that reason that the demon so willingly let his clutches fall upon him. Naiveté is always SWEET. And with Francis, it’s a good serving of Angel’s Food cake that keeps on giving.
❝ Nothing but blood here though—could be from our guy, could be from a pig that they probably stolen from a back alley dumpster of a butcher shop. ❞ Finn finally straightened up with a shrug as he nodded at the smear on the ground before his chest strained against his shirt for a sigh.
❝ ---------not that I did that before because I chickened out on giving out a drop of my blood -- just know the usual MO that’s all❞

The Heart. Thor felt the cool air around him shift slightly. A trophy was normally a horn or something that could be sown on a shelf. A heart would decay and rot; warp your finishes and bleed over the carpets. Then again, when it was like the stone, it wouldn’t do any of that. A perfect trophy….
❝ THUNDERTHIGHS? ❞ Thor frowned at the name, but he dutifully followed the other through the storm. He could tell this was one of those things that would change your life forever. A different fork in the path that could change your future; one way leads down the path you should take and the other–
❝ WHO– NAY, what exactly are you? ❞ Thor asked finally, his cape swishing in the wind as he walked. Now that the battle was over, he could ask these questions without fearing for his life. And these were questions that needed to be answered. Thor didn’t want to admit it, but he didn’t sense anything from the other. Like a blank slate that he was trying to read in front of the class. Thor could tell he was something, but he couldn’t tell what that something was. Even his Seidr was drawing a blank; which in the end scared him the most.
❝ Is that really IMPORTANT? ❞ Finn mumbled softly in casual contemptuousness – partly because he had always find it amusing to throw others into a loop to what he really was. Partly because it’s a long winding road of more questions that actual answers as he was more than what mortals, or near immortals, could comprehend as the demon was just like any being who had come even before worlds and realms have started to be weaved into realization.
❝ Come on, we just saved the world--let’s just get a pizza and beer---❞ he tattled on as the rain slowly weakened. Though him looking at the skies had some other reason; that with the power that he just unleashed to kill that damn worm in one blow, he might have attracted attention from those who walk among the light of Paradiso.
❝ ------and like you know, settle with me being your new but coolest teammate. Simple. ❞
I have a meanness inside me, real as an organ.

Thor’s eyes glanced on the object in his hand, a shiver running through his veins as he glanced back at the man. There was something wrong with this victory, but Thor couldn’t exactly explain it. This person had helped him defeat the creature, yet it seemed that it wasn’t for the good of the realm.
❝ WHAT IS it you sought in the monster? ❞ He took a step forward, eyeing the glowing object in the other’s hand. Thor had seen something similar, though it had not been so large. He felt another shiver run through him, the smell of the beast already baking in the hot sun pushing him away. He took a step back, putting Mjolnir in the air and bringing forth a heavy rain to wash the stench away. He kept the place where they both stood dry, his eyes never leaving the hand and the stone.
❝ WE SHOULD depart soon, have you a place? We could celebrate our victory with mead? ❞
❝ The HEART--or a condensed version of it...❞ the words were straightforward. Simple. To kill a raging monster that was about to eat up the whole city in its wake was an act done by heroes – an act that he didn’t have qualms about even if ends up involved in the bout since he wasn’t the kind that would bring destruction in a place that he had already called home. But to have something more from the enterprise, to squeeze out a little more from the victory that they shared was prudent at best..
❝The thing wouldn’t have any more use for its heart – might as well take it as a trophy…❞ he taunted as if to gauge how high and mighty the Asgardian is, all before the rain started to pour and filled his nose with the scent of grass and damp earth – of dampened spring time. And as he looked up the sky, he knew that it was by the hand of the so-called God of Thunder. Well, for someone who could call down rain, he most certainly deserved the title – that is if Finn was a mere human of course. No wonder the Norsemen was ready to bend over for him. The demon let out a chuckle and a shake of his head, at the thought of iot and at the action that had happened before he started walking.
❝ Do you want to stay and be drenched by the rain that I called forth so suddenly? ❞ Finn mused in another chuckle as he rephrased Thor’s question in teasing. A passing comment if anything. Rhetorical and stuff. He continued on with careful steps; in case moving too far from the other guy would loose the protection from the sudden weather shift.
❝ ---------good thing I do have a place, come on THUNDERTHIGHS… ❞
his hands rested on his bare hips the debate on whether to banish the demon, or not would be worth the effort on his part. ‘ yeah. mate? well, ‘ DADDY ‘ can go suck a cock in hell. - i need clothes, not a perverted demo … oi! me fuckin’ eyes are up here, prat! ‘ john snapped his fingers in front of him, directing the demon’s eyes back to him. he wasn’t in the mood for games, standing naked in the middle of nowhere with what he was sure had been karma manifested.
❝ Your mouth says no, your pose says YES---❞ the demon shrugged flippantly as teased on with a shameless nod once more towards the mage’s obvious nakedness – towards the his lower regions where everything is pretty much free-for-all for the eyes. ❝ But if you want clothes, I can do that for you too… ----------question is, what’re you willing to trade it with? ❞ he then taunted.
『☩』Now THAT he didn’t like. ❝You know it’s not MY mess either, right?❞. Jack looked at the other and finally walked closer to him. The fixation he had for the piece of glass was almost entertaining. Had they been in different times, Jack would’ve taken the ashes and turned them into Diamonds or something— Maybe that way he could’ve offered the other one in exchange of something. He even dared to place an arm around Finn’s shoulders, looking at the coarse crystal from the same distance he did. ❝What do I get out of it? I’m not one to forget some of you like to work on CONTRACT❞.
A pause came at the wolf’s words and with his heavy arm around shoulders, bodies close and warm, Finn turned to the man for a fleeting moment before he let out a scoff. Surely, he could feel the millennia-old soul that coursed through his body like a well-used blade; fiery but sharp, soaked in the blood that his has spilled through all the years that he had lived. But for the demon, it was a mere novelty to break the banality of the supernaturals that came and went in his own stay in the mortal realm. Though in this case, the man wasn’t too keen on showing off; that or --
❝Well, it is a wolf as old as you, I can imagine the FEAR that you might be feeling...❞ Finn let his thoughts be words. ❝---but aside from the fact that it is a chance for you to fix your family drama, it’s a chance to keep your peace of mind. Really, with a deranged monster spilling blood left and right he’s most probably a magnet for attention, don’t you think?❞
『☩』 What odd things one had to say to call for a Demon’s attention. Not that it had worked as he wanted, for FINN was much more interested in the glass effigy than his previous topic. At least for a moment. ❝Are you insinuating there’s another Old One I should be worried about?❞. Mainly because he liked to keep the title of ONLY to himself. ❝What ever stops you from handling it yourself? Unless you’re waiting for a fight in the mud to see me shirtless?❞ Not even then could he speak seriously.
❝Well if that happens, I won’t stop myself from STARING,❞ the demon said so simply and so outright as he gave the Wolf King’s physique a nod and a smile before he turned to the artful glasswork that had just called out to his soul, how in its imperfections he had found more visions of the strife that had been wrought out to make it. And as easily as he had mumbled his shamelessness, so was his reason behind his visit.
❝---but if you really want to know, I’m not the kind that cleans up after someone else’s mess. So here we are.❞
❛ Try janitor.. ❜ a draconian tail flicked. the ichor && darkspawn-crimson that was left over from a skermish was casually, but precisely sent into the rift before it closed. a blink & it was no more, but the claws stayed. you know, because, aesthetic.
❛ you wouldn’t. ❜
❝Abracadabra bitch,❞ Finn smiled and with a sigh, every single bottle of alcohol inside the building faded into the rift as well and with the couple of empty glasses, the demon leaned over the counter and gestured at them. ❝What’s your poison? Water, orange juice, or AIR?❞
‘ you’re hilarious. a demon with humor. give y’ a fuckin’ award. how about, instead of bein’ a fuckin’ pillock, y’ actually grab me some clothes before i freeze m’ bollocks off here. swear to christ, sometimes i wonder why i even put up with you. ‘
When it came to humor, they weren’t really different; at least on the part where a single call out wouldn’t be enough to stop him. Of course the demon had to prod on more and play a little more taunting. ❝If warmth is all your looking for ------daddy got just the THING...❞ Finn teased and parted his legs wider.
Can we just focus on the asset please?

Thor cocked a brow as he watched the other move towards the corpse. Usually he didn’t care about his kills or what part of them were still intact after battle unless he was eating it later, so the movements were slightly unnerving. Thor followed him to the serpent’s corpse, frowning as he looked over the carnage. The creature – whoever he may be – was rooting around the organs as if he was looking for something. Or trying to make sure it never happened again. Thor scrunched up his face, sliding down to gaze at the other.
❝ MOST INTESTINES and organs are squishy as you say. There really is no way around that. You could, of course, not rummage around in his body. That might be a way to prevent feeling that– ❞
❝ Where’s the FUN in that?❞ the demon chuckled, half teasing and half-sarcastic both, as a push deeper into the carnage forced his face into a wince once more. He could feel it; how the muscles still twitched ever so slightly in its last sparks of nerves that tugged his arm further into the slick and slimy innards that were cramped into the carcass, and with how his arm tingled with the sensations that came with inspecting the butchery, a clench of the jaw came followed the wince as he just kept his eye on the prize through it all – something that he had felt soon enough, something that had made him quick to act as freshness, and finishing the gruesome task early, was paramount.
A cold pulse emanated from the demon as his fingers clamped around the fleshy mass somewhere inside the fallen beast as if the act itself was the one who pushed out the energy from within him. And with his eyes once more aglow with that ominous purple, Finn felt his power course through the body, towards his grip as if they gathered whatever essence was left from the beast – all that which shot out around his arm in glowing mists just like his eyes. And with a satisfied hum, Finn finally pulled out, his mind’s force ridding any trace of the mess all over his arm as if he just squeezed it into the empty air – though it his grasp, there was small glassy mass that throbbed with red light from deep within.
❝ Well-- ❞ he sighed ❝ ------that was worth the gross…❞ then a chuckle.
