STUDY SESSION #1
If there was one thing that Nicholas was good at it was helping other people especially when it came to studying. It was something that he loved doing and it came naturally to him so he tried to help as many people as he could. Sometimes before finals he would hold a big study group with whoever wanted to come which usually turned out pretty big considering. It was the main reason that he wanted to become a teacher after high school and what his future plans included. Seeing the look in someone’s eyes when they finally understand whatever it was that they were studying made him extremely happy. He was hoping that this would be the case for Daisy and that it wasn’t just her not trying when it came to all of this. He would find out, though, if she was willing to really study tonight. He wasn’t standing out there long before she came to the door and opened it. “Thank you” he said stepping into her house, looking around. “You have a beautiful home.” He looked at what she was wearing and couldn’t help but stare for a moment before he looked back up at her. “So, where should we study?”
Daisy was happy her plan came together so seamlessly, she wanted to do better in school but it was impossible to just pay attention in class and expect to do well, so she hoped the one on one time with Nicholas would actually make a difference. She still didn’t know much about him, they both ran in different circles and as far as anyone knew, even her friends, that continued to be a reality. “No worries,” She said as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him and turning around to face him. “Thanks, I can’t take all the credit though - my mom’s really good at interior design so she keeps this place looking snazzy.” She said smiling, noticing his stare - it must’ve been the outfit but at least he was somewhat discreet, not like other boys around their school. That was another reason she trusted him with bringing him over, he didn’t look like he was in it just to spend time with her, from their conversation the other day she noticed his interest in helping. “We can go to my room if you want? I have my books there anyways unless that’s too weird.” She chuckled with the last part of her offer.
