Imagine you’re attending Hope’s Peak Academy as a new student. You’ve transferred there in the middle of the year- a rare case, considering the kind of Academy it is- and you’re having a little trouble making friends. After all, by this time, everyone’s formed their ingroups which leaves you rather out of the loop. However, it seems that luck is on your side, for during the day you meet a new friend.Â
You didn’t really expect anyone to talk to you, your head laying down nestled in your arms in an attempt to perhaps take a small ten minute nap since the teacher had finished their lesson and given the students plenty of free time to themselves. However, a small tap on your shoulder from the seat behind you didn’t seem to allow you to sleep as you had planned. Raising your head, you took a peek back at the first fellow student who had talked to you all day.
The first thing you noticed were his beautiful light green eyes, almost grey, staring into yours. He opened his mouth in an attempt to say something, but quickly closed it, a hand coming up to run through his fluffy white hair.Â
Well, he sure had a unique appearance. Oddly enough, despite being somewhat different than normal, his appearance was a bit charming.
"Um… Do you need something?" you responded, quietly cursing at yourself for using such a quiet voice. He probably thought you didn’t want anything to do with him.Â
The boy’s face lit up for a moment as he tried to open his mouth again to say something, before closing it once more. He then settled on pointing under your desk.
Oh- his pencil. You bent over and picked it up.Â
"Do you need this?" you asked. The boy nodded, taking it back as he flashed you a small grin and a thumbs-up for thanks. A few moments later a look of shock passed over his face, followed by a rough hacking fit into his arm. He then cast you a look of apology before quickly scribbling something on the piece of paper he already had out.
Sorry, I lost my voice. I’ve been sick for a few days. My name is Nagito Komaeda.Â
You smiled and nodded.
"It’s nice to meet you, Komaeda. I’m (Y/N)."Â
At that moment the bell for lunch tolled. A few moments of silence flowed between you two as you packed up your things, but as you stood up you found the boy in front of you. He seemed to be attempting to form an idea with his hands, pointing at you then himself, then towards the door. You tilted your head.
"Are you… asking me to eat lunch with you?" you guessed.
The boy grinned and nodded. It seemed like he wanted to say something else as well, but literally didn’t have the voice to do so. You shrugged.Â
Imagine that the teacher has announced there will be an end of year test with everything you’ve learned this year. Annoyed you mutter out “I need a drink” and Kuzuyru overhears this after school you receive a lecture about why underage drinking is a bad idea.
Imagine Komaeda hugging Gundam. Gundam’s freaking out because one: Komaeda is hugging him, oh my god and two: the Four Dark Devas are missing as well. But, the hamsters crawl out of Komaeda’s hair, with the hope-obsessed teen laughing because he wanted to tell Gundam but, he thought he deserved a hug.
