Just wanted to say thank you for all your wonderful photos over the years.
I was looking at your gallery on Flickr lately (bc of looking at lots of Virtue/Moir photos - will forever miss them) and just thought that it was time to say thank you!
I always look forward to your brilliant photos! ☺️🫶
Oh, thank you so much for the kind message!
I wish I still had enough time in my life to post photos like I used to, but I'm so humbled that you're still enjoying the ones on Flickr. 🫶🏻 I hope to have the time and motivation to post more this season. (The internet algorithms are really demotivating sometimes too lol).

these pages ⬆️ were available as previews on a magazine site - what's new is mostly fitness and health focused. the interviewer doesn't know anything about ice dance-
she said she and Anthony focus on connecting before competing- they talk through their cues and hug and sync their breath. off ice, she's doing ballet twice a week, pilates once, 3 workouts a week - strength training twice, one cardio on the weekend. she constantly is working on her core. that her diet isn't strict but she likes eating healthy, eats whole foods, treats herself sometimes
praises Anthony and their coaches - said this season was their best one yet, that she's grateful. that their team has helped them find themselves as skaters and performers, that she wouldn't be the skater and person she is now without them
advice to young girls - "to dream big and to believe in yourself, it takes a lot of hard work and determination but you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. it's important to surround yourself with a team that you trust and that believes in you. i would also say that it's important to have patience and to set small achievable goals, not just focus on the results"

Were you at the skating gala and do you know why so many big competitions have galas at the end? What are your favorite memories from all of the competitions you have been at this year?
Honestly I'm not sure what the origin of the Exhibition Gala is - I think maybe as a fun way to celebrate the end of a big event?
This season has been a bit weird for me, to be honest. My outside of skating life has been a bit chaotic and I haven't really had a ton of time to get invested in anything in particular skating wise yet this season, but I think seeing Alicia and Paul win a bronze at Paul's home arena this week was a moment I wont soon forget. They were SO excited and I'm choosing to focus on that and how much it meant to them. Hoping things settle for the second half of the season and I can start to have the time and mental capacity to enjoy it (watching skating) again. :)
What lenses do you use
Lots, but mainly Nikon’s 120-300 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8, and 105 f/1.4 :)
