hiii op i saw your newest Hollywood au and all i could think of for Josh was him either hating or loving Harlan Ellison and his work sorry to drop my Old Man(tm) knowledge on you i just thought it was humorous -- Cringe anon

Lol, I'm glad you find it funny. Believe it or not, Harlan Ellison was one of the three creators I was using as inspiration for coming up with Author Josh.

As for him loving or hating his works, it'd probably be hate with a tinge of jealousy.

I realized that I literally didn't say much abt the au and I just dropped the idea. So, uh, here's me feeding your brain with ideas for this au. I left some things open ended (?) so you can use your inference skills lolololol.

If I got anything wrong, tell me and I'll listen.

Someone on tiktok brought him up, so I drew him in the Hollywood Au.

Pretty muchhh in this AU the eltingville boys went to a film/arts school for their respective hobbies. Since we don't know much about IronJaw, I briefly played with the idea of him being a musician/and or singer (lol) since he's so spitty all the time...but I decided to keep him as a simple, yet still kinda powerful background character as a Literary Manager (They do...a lot. I can't type it all here.)

Also him being a Nepo Baby is a slight reference to his advantage over the others since orginally in the pilot he's a clerk at Joe's Fantasy World.

I think he's also gonna be a one off just like Ward Willoughby, but in the meantime, I might make a comic or something for him.

I thought it'd be fun to throw a pilot character into the Hollywood Au as a small one off(?)

Ward's supposed to be one of those annoying Tmzl paparrazi guys who's constantly trying to get attention/approval. I also think that's he is a rich nepo kid trying to get his name out there the hard way, (ground level/ working one of the least respected careers in order to see his favorite stars.

SPECIFICALLY the annoying sell out type. Ex. "I'm a micro tiktok influencer and I'm gonna pay you THIS much to follow me around and pretend like I'm important while you ask me questions I sent you prior." Ifykyk)

Does he suit that role? Yes? No? I dunno

If you're wondering why he has a mustache,.., my brother begged me to give him one instead of a super thick goatee. Last time I listen to him.

Some doodles of them winning Oscars in their categories. You can decide whether or not if they're deserving of their awards, (Besides Jerry possibly but that's up to your own personal opinion)

I'm iffy on Josh's awards but I think I did alright? Correct me if I'm wrong about the Best Picture award cus in the au he's an International Best Selling Author(But I'm also adding that he writes Screenplays... so he's "good" at most written things including helping Directors develop his vision, so he won an award for having the best movie.)

If you're wondering abt Bill's role here, he's a very Influential Famous Film Critic, known to be hilariously crazy during his reviews. He was invited to host the Oscars. (The night will not end well. As it never does for the Eltingville Club, because Bill is a very, very, spiteful and envious man.)

I played with the idea of the building exploding or Bill getting a secret hitman to rid them from life, but I decided I'm gonna do a more sly/realistic approach for the next one.

Idea I had of the four fucks as film/holywood freaks. Yes they all technically have to shower, but they are still themselves at the end of the day. Just in different, more powerful roles.

I was gonna make Bill a co-director because he definitely seems like the type to yell at actors, but Pete is one-man party when it comes to direction, exploitation, and opinions. Which is why Bill fits more as a film critic.
