One eyebrow rose as Raphael mirrored the look that Samael gave him, eyes narrowing playfully. He wasn’t quite so irritated, in fact, he was quite happy to be around his childhood friend again. 

“Just a bunch of idiots waking me up before it was time for me to wake up, then expecting me to do all of my work properly. And a perfect little angel? Kinda odd coming from one of the fallen, don’t you think, Sammy?”

Samael grinned a bit as he watched the blind healer, the Angel of Death feeling more playful and less bitter than he normally did. However, his level of sarcasm remained the same--but Raphael would know when he was being playful and when he was actually pissed. 

“Damn. You’d think that they’d know not to piss of the Wrath of God. But Heaven is so complicated it’s hard to know shit. And you know I am better than some people in Heaven.”

(I had way too much fun making this. Due to a conversation between myself and the mun for @guardianofyesod, we now have Samael and Raphael in dresses. Yeah… Enjoy!~)

I own the art and Raphael, though I do not own Samael. Samael belongs to @darkheavenlywings, while neither of us own the faceclaim.

The archangel bounced a little bit in place, seemingly having the attitude of a child, and continued to grin widely. He knew full well that he could be killed or cast out for talking to Samael, but honestly, Raphael didn’t care one bit. He was too damn happy to care at the moment.

“It’s alright, as I understand. And usually I do pay attention, Sammy, but I was too irritated to. But now I sure as hell am. Although I do believe that you’ve been a hell of a lot more reckless than I have ever been, going way back when we were kids.”

Samael grinned widely, his own childishness beginning to make itself known. The fallen angel put away his sword, placing his hands on his hips in a mocking manner--although his smile still indicated his playfulness. 

“Well, shit. What did Heaven do to piss off the Wrath of God? And me? Reckless? I would never be reckless! I’m a perfect little angel!” 

More like he was a perfect little shit.

Raphael noticed the grin that the other male was sporting and mirrored it, filmy eyes glinting a bit as he tilted his head. He was absolutely ecstatic that the other male was actually alive and all he wanted to do was hug him tightly. 

“Ah, okay. And I wasn’t really paying much attention to where I was going, so yeah. All I know was that I was irritated as fuck then ended up with a blade held to my throat. And I’m not that reckless, Sammy. You’re the reckless one.”

Samael knew that speaking to Raphael was a dangerous thing to do, but he was so happy to see his old friend and comrade that he didn’t care. Ever since Lilith died, a small part of him craved to be close to someone again. 

“Heh, sorry about that. Used to be a general of the Ancient Demon Army, so gotta be careful, right? And I’m reckless? Look who’s talking! You’re the only prowling about without lookin’ where he’s goin’!”
