Honestly surprised that pompom Dough won cutie cookie of the year, especially from Milky way cookie. But I’m not complaining, I love pompom dough cookie a lot 🙂‍↕️✨ all the moldy cookies are so sweet and cute. I can definitely see why venom and mold dough spoil her. She’s like a tiny, perpetual angry, dog that sleeps on satin pillows and will growl at you until you both have matching pj sets.

She is spoiled but demands that her loved ones be almost as spoiled as her too.

Like a kid irritated that her mom didn’t get candy at the doctor’s office too.

It’s very endearing.

Wait-!

Mayuri’s bankai may instead mean, “He’s leaving room to grow”

I rewatched his lil perfection speech about science to Pink Asshole (Please don’t ask me to spell his full name) and it occurred to me perhaps that may be it 🧐 his bankai encapsulates the imperfect nature of two mashed together baby concepts and it leaves room to grow and be creative with it.

Perhaps not necessarily a reference to his short comings but pointing towards his creativity and desire to nurture growth.

Ah. Yes. I like that 🙂‍↕️✨

In other news, I am working on my sculpting body skills!

It’s um, coming along. It would appear I am only proficient at sculpting 1 thing at a time and an entire body all together is difficult…

(Don’t ask me what this is…I don’t know yet. But it makes me laugh and I’m becoming attached to it’s weird vibes as is)

Also! Horror head wip! Far from done but I like so far!

(Do not be alarmed by the jarring disparity of quality. I either get possessed by the muse for a few hours or it leaves me alone with my 3 braincells for the slot machines at the local casino 😔 I don’t get to pick when that occurs.)

You know Mayuri also has major themes of metamorphosis! Change! It’s like one of the major ones! (To me, in my heart)

We know his little baby bankai yes? Well, it’s also a Bug! A moth to be precise. A symbol of change. Also also the middle stage of worm to cocoon to moth, the creature turns completely liquid inside the cocoon and reforms it’s body to be a moth!!

His bankai power of liquifying is both a reference to womb fluid and insect cocoon soup!! How neat. I love him so much.

However, the prominent theme of change presents in the form of desire. Mayuri wants to grow and see growth, but he’s stuck in the middle stages of it. He can’t make himself grow so he modified his bankai to Make it grow. He’s very desperate! His desires for Nemu’s growth mirror his own and that’s why she is bis greatest achievement.

I don’t see many people talk about it at as an option, but Senjumaru is in (my opinion) probably Mayuri’s mom? Or like she created him in a similar fashion to how Mayuri created Nemu as an experiment.

People comment on how Nemu and Senjumaru look very similar. But if Mayuri was a woman in the series I would bet he would look identical to Nemu and therefore Senjumaru.

Nemu’s expressions in key moments are just softer versions of Mayuri’s (which, makes me a bit miffed, that a female version has to be softer anyway, but thats a shonen wide issue) down to the overbite and eye shape.

The man also screams of unkept mommy issues/trauma, his bankai is a giant blue haired baby. An expression of something integral to the core of his being.

He is obsessed with creation in such a way to maybe take back some of what was done to him by Senjumaru.

(He also gives big trans/nonbinary energy to me but that’s a different conversation for another day)

Also yeah, he probably went off the rails after Senjumaru left because he likely had suddenly gained lot of newfound freedom (and mommy issues) that he was not used to having.

Dude was probably locked in the maggots nest for reasons beyond his experiments because he was the offspring of Senjumaru, part of the strongest guard squad that’s existed and privy to many of her private experiments.

From what I have read, (vaguely and have’t researched it yet) a lot of the people in the maggots nest were imprisoned because they were “potential threats” that haven’t even done anything yet but imprisoned because of the likelihood they could become a big one and were put under Kisuke’s guard (which Kisuke wasn’t a fan of. Both him and Aizen were not fans of the extremely biased and strict bureaucracy of the soul society, which in hindsight kickstarted the entire series because they were willing to off Rukia for an ultimately harmless transgression and Ichigo was like fuck no/fuck you and beat them up. Kisuke had to work in the system as it was. As it could have easily been Kisuke in Mayuri’s position if he hadn’t become an extremely good liar just like Aizen. Mayuri was cursed/blessed with just about what could be considered as painfully blunt honesty, he’s not a very good liar for a lot of things)

But I could see why he would be upset to be Kisuke’s 2nd after what happened with Senjumaru. Kisuke sort of became his substitute person to hate on (also probs because Kisuke and Senjumaru have a lil bit of that god complex running in the background so he reminds him of her).

He was such a grumpy lil guy under Kisuke tho. He wasn’t his smiley ray of sunshine self (his words not mine).

He grew quite bit after being allowed his own agency. Still very cute. Sad Mad Nerd boy hehehe….

Oh oh! And! I think Kisuke is Jealous of Mayuri too 😌✨ Yes, I think Kisuke is jealous of Mayuri’s ability to care for others on a broader spectrum than he can. To care for much of anything really. Kisuke strikes me as quite apathetic but not necessarily by choice.

I think he wants to care but isn’t capable of it, so he “does what’s best for people” to make up for it.

Thinking about Kisuke and Mayuri.

Mayuri may be the less gifted scientist compared to Kisuke but he achieved something Kisuke never quite could. He was able to create a genuine connection with someone that he cared for, Nemu.

While some people argue that Nemu isn’t as complex as Ururu and Jinta, it doesn’t necessarily matter in this context. Perhaps they are made better, but Kisuke is distant. They are only another creation to him and perhaps causal comparisons.

Mayuri loving Nemu made her out compete the other two where it counted simply because of the bond they formed.

Something Kisuke hasn’t been able to do with anyone, even yoruichi.

What good is a perfect creation if you, yourself aren’t in love with it? Mayuri has love in spades. He is bursting with pure enjoyment and enjoying life for what it is while acknowledging just exactly what is broken about it.

Out of the genius trio of Kisuke, Aizen, and Mayuri. He is the most well adjusted I would say 🤔 which is kinda sad to verbalize when you say that Mayuri is a well adjusted creature in any respect.

Aizen wanted to break an ugly world, Kisuke wanted to remake it better and Mayuri wants to nurture it as it is, watch it grow.

Man, I really gotta write a story about Horror. I gotta project my hardship onto him and then give him everything I want right now.

Silent Salt gives big abandoned dog vibes.

Loyal to a fault and raised for a very specific job that he failed to do and now he’s no longer wanted.

He’s lashes out in fear because all he ever knew was inherently wrong and false, his entire world view turned upside down.

He was created by a being that expected perfection in an imperfect world with imperfect creatures.

All of the beasts were doomed from the very beginning, created from idealism and fantasy by “gods” who were imperfect themselves and who had many good hopes and dreams but none of the real responsibility to take them all the way the way through which just produced profound suffering for the half baked godlings that belonged neither with the cookies nor with their creators.

They were made for the world but the world was not made for them.

Robbie The Rabbit! My favorite character from Silent Hill. I was just reminded of my love for him after seeing the his odd duck merch thing that I am now contractually obligated to purchase at some point.

I love him so much and found his presence comforting almost 😌✨

People theorize he is a manifestation of the space “Silent Hill” as a whole. He’s there always, observing and unnerving. Why is he there? Why is he bloody? Is there a body inside?

The questions someone thinks reveals more about them to feed into their personal hell that Silent Hill makes.

Robbie is what you make of him.

Okay cookie run devs, you have dipped your toes and fingers and everything else in so many game genres.

I need you to make a cookie life sim game, I need to be able to spoil Silent Salt cookie with clothing and give him a little house and decorate it. I want to make him go water flowers and suck at cooking and get 9 hours of sleep everyday. He needs a horse stable for his 1 surviving family member other than salt cellar.

I need that and I think I speak for the people when I say, we all need that. Right now. Please.

Give me reskinned animal crossing but with the cookies, I don’t care but please. They need a happy existence somewhere and I need to witness it personally as an omnipresent joyful god.

Also also! The tentacle in the background? That’s my lil outer lust nightmare oc named Fever I got a long time ago! He’s so pretty. Truly, I think god just likes to see me scorch as my little clown bells jingle jangle. Hopping and shimmying my way across the hot coals of this hellish existence in nothing but my primary color shame at this point.

Anyways.

Mayuri in tiny figure form is growing! Like a very adorable fungus across my sculpting software! So cute! So invasive! I can’t wait to see him upon this plane of existence in physical form.

He shall suffer cutely along with me you see 🙂‍↕️✨ Yes, I can’t be the only cute sufferer here. I must share the privilege amongst the group. The group being my collection of sad and/or insane old men.

Is Mayuri old? Meh. He might actually be the youngest 🤔 spiritually. Maybe. Unsure. He doesn’t have old man grief yet I think, but that Nemu thing really kicked his young points down.

Poor guy, cuddling his dead daughter’s brain in a regenerative pod while he can’t come to terms with the fact he is even sad about it 😔 he’s a weird guy also but that’s his cutie point.

And Alphys!! I love Alphys so very much. Her character is very well done and charming to me 😌✨ like beyond her relationship with Undyne and her friendships. She herself, is very interesting.

It also makes ms think of how all the royal scientists have all met some unfortunate or dark circumstances due to their work 🤔 like Gaster and now Alphys. It would also make a certain amount of sense that Sans decided to abandon his science career despite very much caring for it. Even past his apathy, he probably saw things weren’t going to go well and he’s got his brother to look out for ya know?

Sans would have likely been much more “successful” in his research and made something worse than the amalgamates probably 🤔 and also he would have struggled with the consequences far harder than Alphys I think. I think she has the stronger will of two in a lot of ways because she was able to face her consequences head on eventually.

I’m not sure that Sans ever did, since we barely even knew about them lol.

Meh. Chasing away at the thought rabbits today hehe.

I’d love a Alphys Nendo 😌✨ surely that’s more likely than an amalgamates one…? Please…?
