from the very second seokmin reached out his hand and introduced himself to you, a wide smile beaming at you in a way that made you feel compelled to smile just as genuine back, you could tell that this was a man who spoke all the love languages in the world.

devotion, to him, was like second nature. he didn’t ever have to think twice when it came to you and you suppose it came as a surprise after having been caught in a relationship with a stingy other. you’ll never forget that awful monday morning, the one when you slept in and couldn’t iron your shirt before rushing off to work with an empty stomach. the one in which your car broke down about halfway and you found yourself sobbing into the receiver on a phone call with whoever you called last. as fate would have it, seokmin was the one to greet your ugly, breathless cries with his own chirpy self. you’d only known him for two weeks then.
