I've found out in the latest version of fear and hunger: termina that in the fight against cocoon (moonscorched marina) you can simply flee the fight to defeat her. Will this feature get patched in the upcoming update? And do you have any funny or lore related interpretation for this?

Back again with another rant, today it's a quick one but it's also just a genuine observation and question, I'd like some clarification on what's about to be said!

"moonscorched"

Here's the number one thing that has always bothered me, why is Daan turning into pocketcat categorized as "moonscorched". I get it in a game developer point of view, it's an easier way to put all of the animations together and all and it's honestly fine. But I think it's not really a moonscorching; it happened differently from others, is not really scorching from the moon, the only thing that makes this transformation a moonscorch is the fact that this transformation was a thing RHER wanted. All what happened to Daan is turn into pocketcat, a boogie man that has existed for centuries, he didn't turn into his deepest darkest insecurities, guilts or responsibilities that trap him down in a sense of neverending dread. I DO GET the symbolism behind Daan becoming pocketcat and it being "similar" to a moonscorch but I do not view it as such.

I do not want to get assassinated by funger lore analyzers I just would like someone to answer me honestly but yet in a very very..very very respectful way, thank you ❤️

I think what makes Daan's transformation a moonscorche is that he's a character that has lost all semblance of hope. All throughout the game he's in a very, VERY, fragile state that essentially allows Pocketcat to take over on the final day. I wouldn’t necessarily say that that's what Rher wanted, I believe that Pocketcat just needs to have a new "vessel" for him to control every Termina. However, Pocketcat is embodying the worst of Daan's trauma, that's what classifies his transformation a moonscorche.

Even if Daan survived the festival, he most likely would've been taken over, which is suppose would break the rules of Termina's "3 day limit". But still, the whole idea of a moonscorched transformation is that the victim takes the form of the core piece of trauma or flaw, Pocketcat is a perfect example of that regarding Daan. Again, that doesn't really have any direct correlation between the festival and Rher himself, but Daan's transformation does still follow the rules regarding the moonscorched.
