Fans of historical dark rides and/or Mine Train through Nature's Wonderland owe it to themselves to go to Knott's Berry Farm and ride the Calico Mine Train.

Seriously, it's ancient, it's janky, and it's a great example of a historical dark ride that's far less modernized. Also it has rainbow caverns.

Magic kingdom was a blast I’m tired and sore but I got to do almost all my must-dos (Tron’s wait was too long and I wasn’t able to make it out to Tom Sawyer island, but I did ride the Liberty Bell!)

I didn’t stay for fireworks sadly but it just meant I got to take a not full bus back to the hotel which was nice

Also nobody warned me that Space Mountain was like Matterhorn over here, I was terrified guys

Disneyland Resort Extinct Attractions Iceberg Ver. 2!!!

The original iceberg was quite outdated and honestly I don’t remember what my plan was for certain parts of it (especially that whole first tier) so I decided to go through and shuffle some things around and add attractions that had closed recently, and move some of the tier placements for certain ones around

If you notice anything I missed please let me know, I’m planning on scripting out a video about this iceberg finally and would love to add any missing things before making it!

Interesting that you have it arranged by what Disney keeps buried rather than what the fandom might not know about. Because, idk, maybe I've just been in the fandom too long, but things like Museum of the Weird come across as near surface level "common knowledge" to me. Especially Museum of the Weird. That thing is near inescapable.

Also, not sure if you're going to include this already, but regarding Tower of Terror and the DCA entrance retheme, the original DCA 2.0 entrance had a lot of connections/lore with Tower of Terror, that was all abruptly removed with the Mission Breakout retheme. So it kind of became a DCA 2.1 entrance of sorts.

The sort of plan with it also was to arrange it by things that people would know just as an average park goer vs being in the fandom (the things Disney keeps hidden is kinda just silly flavor text, though with some of them it really feels like they don’t acknowledge it for the case of not acknowledging the promises they didn’t deliver on)

For the entrance having connecting tower of terror lore, I’d love to hear more about that because that isn’t something I noticed or knew about!

There was some EXTENSIVE lore, including a whole newspaper article with a hotel manager character that I suspect was intended for the Society of Explorers and Adventurers continuity.

Okay so with the re-doing the iceberg chart is there anything that I had left off the first one that people would want on there? There already are things that I have to change, and sadly some things that have to be moved from their original placements (like MuppetVision and Tough to be a Bug)

I am already planning on removing the first tier since it kinda is pointless and weird

So my mom and I have similar taste in YouTube videos and I discovered that she knows what iceberg chart videos are and so I was like oh yeah a YouTuber did a video on the one I made and it was pretty popular and she was like YOU MADE ONE? Personally I really hope there is some REALLY WEIRD curveball announcement about something

Because there’s a lot of things I am almost 100% positive will be announced or at least mentioned, but I think it would be funny if they were like “oh yeah also we heard you all asking for stuff with the peoplemover…. So we are bringing back the rocket rods” or something ridiculous like that

But things I’m positive will be mentioned are an opening date for Tiana’s, stuff about the avengers ride, since apparently stuff was on display about that, and like… it isn’t AS certain for me if they will do it but since there is like a whole booth dedicated to avatar I’m sure they’re going to bring up things about the avatar experience they are bringing to Disneyland!

I feel like there will be a lot about the 70th for Disneyland as well since that is next year

I feel like it isn’t LIKELY but I would like them to say something about plans for the Tomorrowland theater area and/or the launch bay lower floor, because if we aren’t getting a new Tomorrowland at least like

Fill the empty spaces there with SOMETHING

And same for Wdw Tomorrowland I would hope there would be an announcement for something to fill the stitch/alien encounter show space

But also for wdw I feel like there will be announcements about beyond big thunder and the dinoland retheme!
