ramiel
Mr. Ramiel - head of education. Angel. Ethereally beautiful and changes slightly depending on the light. Huge jerk. Loves drama and tries to create as much of it as possible between his schools. Actually loves children, but is a total asshole to everyone else. Acts cartoonishly evil, though no one but the newest teachers take him seriously anymore. Hates non-magical humans.

Greythorne once had a thing with Claude, the Literature teacher, back when they were both evil. They split up because Claude wanted to change and Greythorne couldn’t understand. Now that they’re both good and working at the same school, it’s pretty awkward.
Greythorne’s greatest rival is the Drama teacher, Kifat Sood. 20 years ago, when he tried to infiltrate the school, Greythorne stole Kifat’s food out of the teacher’s lounge fridge. Kifat never forgot and never forgave. He does not care that Greythorne is reformed. They are rivals for the ages.
Mr. Greythorne - Chem/Potions Teacher. He caused the Endless Wars, but for him, it was nbd. He used to be super evil, but now he’s a good guy at heart, more or less. Very lonely. He wants the kids and other teachers to like him so badly. Tried to infiltrate the school 20 years ago to steal the All Book, setting the fire that killed Jerry (awkward), but it put him on the path to redemption.
On the school grounds, there is a really old plant that’s been around for as long as Jerry can remember. He takes care of it, as long as no one is looking. Before Jerry took over, it was dying and unrecognizable, but now it is flourishing. (Rumor has it that if last petals fall off the school will end?)
christine
Ms. Christine Cruz - Student Teacher to Mr. Brown. Is a ghost. Cannot pass on until she has shown everyone in the whole world everything she knows… so she is immortal and will last until the end of mankind. Bleeding horribly out of many orifices. Died to torture (crucified), but doesn’t remember or care how she died. Constantly dissociating. Always a couple decades behind the times, but she catches up.
The Hell Dimension is different from Hell. Hell is a place in the Hell Dimension, like New York, New York. Regardless of where you are, the Eternal Wars wage on.
As a consequence of the Eternal Wars, a hole into the Hell Dimension was torn into Minnesota. Ella lost her father to demons and had to become a hunter out of necessity.
ella and lorelai!
Ella Lee - 12. A new student from Minnesota, where demons are a giant problem. Her father died from demon attacks, and she puts his soul in a gem and carries it around with her. She’s a very small, very scared demon hunter who becomes more confident in herself, with the help of Mr. Bloodmarch. Roommates with Eleni: they talk about their destinies together.
Ms. Lorelai Khaalida - Art teacher. Is a lich. Wears bangles and flowy dresses. Has been alive for a very long time, and can barely speak because she’s rotting away, but is incredibly excited and passionate about art. Knows everything about art history because she’s been around for so long. Everybody loves her. Her phylactery is a shitty handmade jar she keeps on her desk (she is much better at jars now).
Mr. Gary Brown - Teaches Math. Just Math. He’s an absolutely normal, non-magical man with a ghost for a student teacher (that he cannot see). Has a totally normal human wife at home and four kids who go to a totally normal human college. Has been teaching at this school for 20 years and still is not remotely magical.
Professor Merlin - Teaches Magic Maths. Magic Maths is the fundamentals of the magical universe, which is not to be confused with Math. Is that Merlin, but wishes you wouldn’t make a fuss about it. He is just trying to teach.
