Sorry I’ve not really been around all that much recently.
I’ve not been in a good place emotionally for quiet a while now and recently it’s just got to the point that I’ve not wanted to do anything. But stuff from the last few days has put me in a much better mood, so I’m currently feeling much better than I have in a long time.
But even so, this last week has been busy as hell when it comes to school work. OTL I started my art exam on wednesday and have spent 9 hours in that so far, and I have the last 6 hours tomorrow. All my art exam prep is due in tomorrow too, my first piece of english coursework was due last monday, my next piece of english coursework is due on friday, I have coursework due for ICT every week until the 14th of May and that same week all my art coursework is due in too.
So yeah, I’m going to be hella busy with school work until probably the 17th of May. But, as long as my mood stays this good, I’ll probably be back here more after that since I’ll have finished school for the summer at that point.
Until then I’ll still probably be around on my personal most, but I’ll drop into my rp accounts every now and then when I feel compelled to. They can all be found here if anyone is interested.
Chaos || Open Post
With his brothers nowhere to be found Yazoo was lost. He didn't know what to do or where to go. Because Kadaj was not around the silverette saw no reason to stay with the Fair's, though he would return every few days in hopes that his brother was back. However, that was never case. Then Loz seemed to have gone missing also, leaving the middle remnant with nobody else to trail after.
All the silverette was left with was his own mental instability. The others were who kept him grounded, so without them anything was possible and whatever was possible was bound to occur, as long as it inflicted chaos upon the surrounding world. That was how Yazoo found himself in his current situation.
Lead on by insanity, Yazoo shot Velvet Nightmare aimlessly into crowds of people, not caring who he struck down in his rampage. Humans were pathetic, so easy to fright and so happily scattering like insects at the first sign of danger. Choruses of screams echoed throughout the area as some fell and others fled, but no matter the cause the sound was a delicious melody to the remnant, only second to the sight of rich blood. With each fresh bullet shot from his weapon more of the marvellous scarlet began to soak the ground, stealing life from his innocent victims.
For the time being at least, the silverette was eased by the chaos caused by his own hand, the destruction of others bringing him pleasure. Nonetheless, over a short time he began to lose interest. With each person successfully fleeing the scene another victim was lost, and with each person failing another cry of pain was lost to death. Before long the area was dead of activity and there was nothing to cause Yazoo to linger, not even for a moment.
Laughing hysterically, the remnant moved on, going in search of another area to unleash his destruction upon. His usually neat locks of silver had tangled and become a mess in the demented excitement, stains of red slowly congealing within it. Each step taken slowly grew weak however, the silverette gradually having drained himself both mentally and physically.
Sephiroth made a soft sound.
He could easily understand why Yazoo would find such a feeling unpleasant. There would have been something wrong if his little brother found enjoyment out of this…
“I know. If you would like… I will remain with you until they return.”
He knew they would return. They had to. Eventually they too would need to be with one another, be with Yazoo.
But that still did not explain their desires to just…leave. And why Yazoo stayed behind…
Yazoo had not chosen to stay behind, more so he had not known of his brother's intentions in leaving and so he had been unable to follow. Although he did not particularly like having to follow behind them and go along with their many schemes, the remnant would always follow if it meant he would be close to his brothers.
Hearing the other's words, the silverette glanced over to his older brother, desiring to remain close to him at the very least. He gave a small nod of his head, though muttered quietly again after a few moments. "But...what if they don't come back?" Slowly it had become unclear to Yazoo if he and his brothers would ever be together as they once had been. For the 16 months of his second life that remnant had been alone for the majority of it, so it was becoming difficult for him to believe what he yearned to trust as the truth.
Sephiroth was silent. To be honest, he’d never thought about it. He assumed that his remnants were similar to him, independent…desiring to wander for a time. But it seemed Yazoo was different. Not so much dependent on his brothers…but deeply connected to them, so deeply that their absence felt as if a part of himself were missing.
Sephiroth did not completely understand this feeling…but it also meant that he missed out on the wonderful complete feeling Yazoo must feel when his brothers are near and with him…
“I…do not know…”
And he didn’t. But he would not attempt to lie to him by making something up.
Sure, each of the remnants could be largely independent, but at their core there were merely fragments, fragments of the person why were created in the image of. The three of them each possessed something that the other's lacked, so it was only together that they could truly feel whole and that was why the three had such a strong connection, more so than the Jenova cells connecting them to all their brothers and sisters.
In a way it only made sense that Sephiroth would not understand the feeling entirely. He was the complete being after all.
"I don't like it." He muttered simply, unable to comprehend why his brothers were so vanishing. None of it made sense to him. They were supposed to be together. They were supposed to be with Mother for the reunion, so why would they always leave so easily?
specimen-s replied to your post: “Hello, little brother,” Sephiroth purred. “It has…
Sephiroth’s expression became one of concern at Yazoo’s tone. “Are you all right, little brother?”
Yazoo didn’t look at the other as he spoke, though his voice remained monotone and emotionless. “They’ve gone again…”
Sephiroth grew silent. Yes. He knew this… he could tell when all he felt was Yazoo’s presence. How silly of him to forget… Of course Yazoo would be upset, even if it could not be detected.
He stepped closer, kneeling next to his little brother.
“Yes. I know.”
What else could he say? There was nothing he could say that would be of any benefit.
He rested his head on Yazoo’s knee. The others may have gone, but Sephiroth would still be there, and he would remain until their brothers returned.
Yazoo was more than upset with his brothers' sudden disappearance. In leaving they'd taken part of the remnant's own being also, left him feeling incomplete and empty.
When contact was made with Sephiroth the silverette did not shift closer as he normally would, although he did not resist either. Instead he remained silent for a few minutes, quietly muttering to himself when he was able to form a coherent thought. "Why do they always leave...?" Since his return to live Yazoo had found himself wondering that far too often for his liking.

"Hello, little brother," Sephiroth purred. "It has been sometime since we have spoken."
He nodded lightly in agreement, his voice weak when he spoke. "Hello, big brother."
Abashed the Devil stood and felt how awful goodness is.
